The Maharashtra Institute of Nursing Science, Latur (MINS) is a well-known institution for nursing education. The institute has structured admission procedures in place to screen qualified candidates and offers several nursing courses. MINS is INC approved and provides four specialized courses in nursing at both the bachelor's degree and diploma levels.
The admission cycle for MINS normally commences in April and continues till October, depending upon the program. Application Process

Basic B.Sc Nursing:
1. Qualify the NEET exam conducted by NTA.
2. Apply through DMER Maharashtra counseling.
3. Attend counseling and choose MINS as an institute.
4. If allocated, report to MINS for completing admission formalities.
B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing:
1. Obtain application form from MINS (from April to August).
2. Fill in the application form with proper details.
3. Upload the application form with all the required documents, as well as the application fee.
4. Wait for merit list.
5. If selected then follow the procedure for admission of the institute.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Sc Nursing: MINS conducts two B.Sc Nursing courses - Basic B.Sc Nursing and B.Sc Nursing, both with 50 seats. The admission to the Basic B.Sc Nursing course is through NEET and DMER counseling. While 85% of the seats (42) are filled by DMER, 15% (8 seats) are for NRI candidates admitted by the management. For B.Sc Nursing, admissions are made on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Application forms are normally available from April to August.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This course has 60 seats and is merit-based admission, which considers the performance in the qualifying examination. The application forms are usually available from April to August, and the admissions are between August and October.
GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): MINS offers 20 seats for GNM. There is no information about admission details; however, admission is suspected to be merit-based through the qualifying examination like other courses at MINS.
