Degree-wise Admission Procedure
B.A.: The college provides B.A. courses in the following subjects-Morning Marathi and English, Political Science, Economics, History, Psychology, and Geography. Merit-based admissions are followed where 12th standard marks are considered for admission. The total strength of students in B.A. courses varies by course, though. In all, there are 640 seats available in Political Science and 640 in Economics. For Marathi and English, there are 420 seats each.
B.Sc.: B.Sc. courses in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics, Microbiology, and Biotechnology have an intake ranging from 50 to 360 seats depending upon the specialisation.
B.Com.: B.Com. course has 320 seats of intake. Admissions are made strictly based on marks secured in the 12th standard. Priority is given to those students who studied in commerce.
BCA and BBA: These professional courses have an intake of 80 and 40 seats respectively. The admissions are done as per 12th standard marks may be along with some extra criteria fixed up by the college.
M.A.: Postgraduate courses are offered in English, Marathi, Economics, Political Science, and Geography. Admissions are granted as per marks received in the relevant master's degree. According to the specialization, admission is between 20-50 students.
M.Sc.: The college provides M.Sc. courses in Chemistry, Computer Science, Zoology, Microbiology, Electronics, Physics, and Mathematics. The admissions are strictly based on merit marks derived through B.Sc. degree relevant to that specialization. The intake is from 10 to 30 seats in each specialization.
M.Com.: The M.Com. course intake is 80 seats. The admission is directly based on the B.Com. or equivalent degree marks.
Ph.D.: Doctoral courses are offered in Electronics, Zoology, Chemistry, Botany, Biotechnology, Physics, and Geography. Admission is given on the basis of performance in the relevant master's course and may require additional selection procedures as per the norms of the universities.
