Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandirs Arts Science and Commerce College, Manmad. The college provides 18 courses under 9 different degrees that include undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. Admission to this college is merit-based, based mainly on the student's performance in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination.

2. Application Form : Candidates can even download the same application form either from the colleges office or their official website itself.

3. Application Form Fill-up: Fill up the application form with all correct personal and academic details.

4. Submission of Documents: In addition to the filled-up application form, candidates are also required to submit the following documents:

  • Passport size photographs
  • HSC mark sheet (for undergraduate admissions)
  • Bachelor's degree mark sheets (for postgraduate admissions)
  • School/College leaving certificate
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

Any other relevant certificate as required by the college

5. Application Submission: The applicant shall submit his application, along with all the documents necessary in the application form, to the college's admissions office prior to the date set for such submission.

6. Merit List: Depending on the candidates' performance in the qualifying examination, the college shall prepare and post the merit lists.

7. Counseling and Seat Allotment: The shortlisted candidates are invited for counseling where seats are allotted on the merit of students as well as availability.

8. Fees Payment: Selected candidates need to deposit the required amount of fees within the scheduled time frame as a confirmation of admission.

9. Document Verification: All documents submitted by the students are verified by the college. In case of discrepancies, admissions will be canceled.

10. Orientation: Freshers are generally expected to attend an orientation program where they get to know the college rules, facilities, and academic expectations.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.A., B.Com, B.Sc: The admissions to the UG courses are strictly merit-based. The applicant's performance in the HSC examination is the criterion on which the admission is done. The college offers B.A., 120 seats; B.Com, 480 seats; and additional seats for B.Sc programs.

B.Voc: The college offers B.Voc in Electronics, Information Technology, and Accounting and Taxation. Each program has an intake of 50 seats. The admission is merit-based as qualified in the examination.

M.A.: PG courses in Marathi, Hindi, Economics, and English, with 60 seats each, are available in the college. Admission is solely based on performance in the undergraduate degree.

M.Com: The M.Com courses provided by the college are Advanced Cost Accounting and Cost Systems and Business Administration. It is merit-based admission based on the candidate's performance in their B.Com or equivalent degree.

M.Sc: Organic Chemistry is offered by the college with 48 seats. Admission at the levels of the M.Sc degree is strictly based on performance in the B.Sc degree.

Ph.D.: Marathi and Economics are the two Doctoral programmes offered by the college: 18 seats for Marathi; 32 seats for Economics. The university and concerned department may add additional selection criteria for research programs.
