MSIT Sonepat Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Mahaveer Swami Institute of Technology (MSIT), Sonipat, is one of the reputed institutes in India offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering and management disciplines. Admission into MSIT has an admission process that filters deserving candidates through national-level entrance examinations. The application procedure for Mahaveer Swami Institute of Technology, Sonipat varies from one program to another:

For B.Tech programs:

1. Clear JEE Main Paper 1 conducted by NTA.
2. Register through the official MSIT website, or through the respective state counseling portal (if applicable) using the JEE Main application number and the rest of the required details.
3. Fill the application form with correct personal and academic details.
4. Upload the required document as indicated in the application guideline.
5. Pay the application fee through the prescribed payment method.
6. Complete the application form and wait for the merit list of counseling schedule.

For MBA and MCA programs:

1. Relevant details regarding entrance exams and MSIT application are to be put up on their website.
2. Register and appear for the relevant entrance exam (i.e. CAT, MAT, or state level MBA/MCA entrance exams).

Degree wise Admission Process

The first four B.Tech programs offered at MSIT include Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering; all four programs and seats are purely on the basis of JEE Main Paper 1 scores. Therefore, there are 240 seats altogether under B.Tech, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) being the most sought-after with an intake of 120. Eligibility of admission to B.Tech requires the individual to have fulfilled all requirements of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

MBA: The MBA program has a strength of 60 by the institute. Other than that, candidates usually have to qualify either a national-level or a state-level MBA entrance examination to get through. Selection could also be depending on a written test, group discussion, and personal interview.

MCA: There is MCA program in MSIT for 60 seats. Probably, admissions will be given through national-level entrance examination for MCA with a merit-based admission process later.

M.Tech: The other three M.Tech programs in the institute are Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering, with an intake of only nine seats each. Usually, admission into these programs is based on GATE score, and an interview round might be included.

BCA and BBA: The BCA program at MSIT is for a total of 240 intakes. The BBA program has 180 intakes. Admissions to these programs can either be through a separate entrance examination or on a merit basis for 10+2 scores.
