MRIET Secunderabad Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Malla Reddy Institute of Engineering and Technology (MRIET), Secunderabad, Telangana, conducts a just admission process for the study of engineering courses. MRIET is ranked amongst the premier engineering colleges which ensure quality studies in different disciplines of engineering. Admissions by the institute are held mainly based on the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET), and this ensures the policy of admission strictly on a merit basis.

The calendar for TS EAMCET usually follows MRIET admission calendar. Although the dates change every year, the process usually starts in the initial quarter of the year with the TS EAMCET application, followed by the test in May or June. The results usually release in July, followed by counseling and admission.

For B.Tech courses, the general eligibility criterion is pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. The candidate should pass TS EAMCET to secure admission on merit quota basis.

Application Process

Application process for MRIET is as follows:

1. Attend TS EAMCET: Students have to apply and sit for the TS EAMCET exam held by Telangana State Council of Higher Education.

2. TS EAMCET Counselling: Shortlisted candidates are required to undergo TS EAMCET counselling. It comprises certificate verification, option entry, and seat allotment.

3. Admission Under Management Quota: The candidates may directly approach the institute for 30% management quota seats. The procedure is based on merit and institute criteria.

4. Document Submission: The shortlisted candidates are required to submit the following documents:

• TS EAMCET Rank Card
• Class 10th and 12th mark sheets
• Transfer Certificate
• Caste Certificate (as required)
• Income Certificate (if required)
• Aadhar Card
• Recent passport-sized photos

5. Payment of Fees: On seat allotment, the candidate is required to pay the fees of his or her turn individually to obtain the admission.

6. Institute Reporting: Finally, the candidate needs to report on the respective date at MRIET along with original documents so that verification and final admission may be performed.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: MRIET has five B.Tech courses that include Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Information Technology. All of the B.Tech courses are primarily through TS EAMCET. 70% of the seats are TS EAMCET merit-based, and 30% Management/NRI quota reserved. The college has a total intake of 600 seats with all the B.Tech courses.

For second year B.Tech lateral entry, diploma graduates are eligible for admission by the Telangana government through the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET). Lateral entry admissions are provided up to 20% of intake.
