Mayurbhanj School of Engineering, Baripada (MSE) is a renowned academic institution situated at Laxmiposi, Baripada, Odisha. MSE has nurtured engineering talent for almost three decades. Application Process

1. Announcement of Admissions: Check for an announcement of admissions on the MSE official website  for the forthcoming academic year.

2. Application Form: Following the announcement of admissions, download the application form from the official website or collect it from the admission office of the Institute.

3. Filling up of Form: Take special care in compiling the application form by providing authentic details, personal and academic. All essential requisites must be filled accordingly.

4. Preparatory Works of Documentation: All documents preparatory works, namely:

• Mark-sheet and passing certificate of 10th standard
• Date of birth proof
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Recent passport-size photographs

5. Submission of Application: The hard copy of the duly filled application form along with all required documents should be sent to the admission office of MSE either through personal delivery or registered post.

6. Application Fees: The payment of the application fee is also according to the directive. In the admission notification, mode of payment will be mentioned along with the amount.

7. Merit List Preparation: On the last day of application submission, MSE shall prepare a merit list based on applicant's 10th standard marks.

8. Counseling and Seat Allotment: Candidates selected in the merit list as per merit may be called for counseling to select the preferred branch according to their rank in merit list and availability of seats.

9. Fees Payment: Once allotment is made against seats, it is again mandatory for such candidates to pay the fees to retain their admission.

10. Document Verification: The verification of all original candidate documents would be held in the institute at the time of admission.

Degree Wise Admission Process

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This remains one of the flagship programs at MSE for which an intake of 180 has been permitted. The admission is on merit and based on the performance of the particular candidate in the 10th standard, especially in Mathematics and Science subjects.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering: MSE offers an intake capacity of 120. The admission is merit-based and considers the marks obtained in 10th standard examination, particularly in Mathematics and Science.

Diploma in Civil Engineering: For this 60-seat program, candidates are admitted based on 10th Standard merit, especially in Mathematics and Science subjects.

Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: The program on offer with 60 seats. Admission follows the 10th standard merit list, giving preference to students good at Mathematics and Science.

Diploma in Automobile Engineering: For this specialized program, the intake is 60 in MSE. An admission is made based on the merit of the 10th standard results giving value to students showing strong aptitude in technical subjects.
