Master of Science (M.Sc) in Chemistry is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by the Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate's B.Sc. examination of the Panjab University or any other University recognized by the Syndicate securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and with Chemistry for M.Sc. Chemistry course along with any Science subject. Provided that the student who had not taken Mathematics as one of the subjects in the B.Sc. examination may be admitted to M.Sc. (2 Year course) in Chemistry on the condition that he/she passes an additional paper in Mathematics in the first year examination securing at least 40% marks and the student who studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in B.Sc. An examination should pass the additional paper in Biology in the first year examination securing at least 40% marks..

Admission Details

Admission will be on the basis of an entrance test (O-CET) conducted by Panjab University. Only the rank holders in this entrance test will be considered for admission. 50% weightage will be given to the score in the entrance test & 50% to the score in the qualifying examination.

College Infrastructure

College have good infrastructure but campus is not much big in area. College providing various facilities like easy access to library, reading room, laboratories with all the latest equipment, cctv campus, cafeteria but lacking common sitting area for us. College is well cleaned regularly and food quality is good in cafeteria.
