Medak College of Engineering and Technology (MCET), Hyderabad, is a well-known college with multiple engineering and management courses offered by it. The college has a merit-based admission process that considers students' performance in entrance tests and academic marks first and foremost
Admission to MCET is primarily based on two entrance tests: Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) for B.Tech programs and Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) for MBA programs. These two tests are usually conducted annually, exam dates are intimated by respective examination conducting bodies.
For B.Tech admission, the students must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as core subjects. A minimum of 60% marks in the entrance exam is normally required, but certain cut-offs may vary according to the course and category. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any subject with at least 50% marks to be admitted into the MBA course.
Application Process
Application process of Medak College of Engineering and Technology is as follows:
1. Appear for the respective entrance exam (TS EAMCET for B.Tech or TSICET for MBA).
2. Apply for state-level counseling process after announcement of entrance exam results.
3. Fill the online application form on the counseling website with personal information, academic information, and entrance test score.
4. Pay the fee.
5. Choose MCET and desired course while going for counseling.
6. In the event of being allotted a seat, go to the college for verification of documents and admission confirmation.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: MCET offers B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Admissions to the above courses are made based on TS EAMCET score. The total intake of the college is 300 seats in the B.Tech courses, with Computer Science and Engineering having the highest intake of 120 seats.
MBA: The college offers an MBA program in Business Management with 60 seats. The admissions are based on TSICET scores, followed by counseling.

In my college teachers are very experienced and more interactive with each and every one. Many live demo sessions were conducted and jam sessions too which improved our communication skills.Many week end exams were conducted to improve the semester exams.curriculum is well updated
I'm studying btech electrical and electronic engineering... I can say the quality of teaching is average. Yes I think our curriculum is up to date and includes all the recent developments in the field.what really we gain in our college campus will boost up and buildup confidence among students to get ready for a job
