The campus is properly maintained with constant up-gradation of buildings and hostels. A well-equipped library,The students also have a gym facility. AC and non-AC classrooms are available, and Wi-Fi facility is available in the entire campus. The institute offers an auditorium, seminar halls, conference rooms, computer centers, sports complex, canteens, and a stationery shop to the students.
The faculty of MIET Meerut for an MBA is well-experienced and welcoming in nature. They enable the students to foster proper managerial attitudes. Professors emphasize learning through practical means by implementing real company case studies, research studies, and industry discussions.
The institute has a reported placement percentage of 80% till date. On-campus and off-campus placements begin from the final year. Internship programs are offered in the third semester. The companies recruit and the students are shortlisted as per the eligibility criteria defined by the recruiters. Different companies such as ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Wipro, Vodafone, and KPMG visit the campus and provide packages depending on students' abilities and specializations
The infrastructure is satisfactory, but management labs and analytics labs could be improved. Some systems and software tools required for data analysis and financial modeling need upgrades. Wi-Fi speed fluctuates, sometimes dropping to 0.6 Mbps, which affects online research and coursework. Hostel facilities are decent and livable, providing a comfortable stay for outstation students.
The faculty members are a mix of highly experienced mentors and some who are less engaging. From the first year itself, students receive guidance from professors who have industry expertise. Some faculty members act as true mentors, guiding students in their career and entrepreneurial aspirations, while a few may not be as effective in their teaching approach.
More than 60% of MBA students at MIET, Meerut, secure placements through the campus recruitment process. The top recruiter is TCS, along with several other firms offering roles in marketing, finance, human resources, and business analytics. The college facilitates internships to enhance practical learning, and management regularly organizes industrial visits and corporate interaction sessions.
Rural-style infrastructure with old-classroom syndrome and poor technology support. Sparse library infrastructure but no exposure to latest HR technology. No standalone HR analytics lab or corporate learning alliances
HR curriculum consists of core subjects like talent acquisition, labor laws, and organizational behavior Finance courses are good, but no HR simulations or AI-based hiring exposure is provided. Industry-specific HR certifications are recommended
Good placements for HR compared to finance. Roles range from recruitment, HR analytics, and training & development. Mostly mid-scale companies high-end consulting roles are few. Internships and networking are crucial for good placements.
Reasonable fee, thus an affordable choice for HR students Industry exposure and infrastructure are poor. Additional HR certifications (e.g SHRM or HR Analytics) increase job prospects
Terrible cultural fests and HR networking sessions. Students must proactively seek LinkedIn groups HR summits or industry mentor programs. Internships are the way to experiential HR learning
Perfect for HR dreamers who can compensate with internships and personal learning
Decent infrastructure with regular classrooms and a decent library. No state-of-the-art financial labs or live stock market simulations. No fintech or investment research center, which leaves learning finance through experiential activity difficult
The finance course doesn't receive exposure to actual topics. Topics like portfolio management, corporate finance, and risk analysis are covered, but very little real-case study or financial modeling assignments
Few finance companies visit for placements. Most are marketing- and sales-based placements instead of traditional finance roles. Students looking to get into investment banking or financial consulting must find external certifications and placements on their own.
Fees are reasonable, although ROI is not for finance students Analytics and banking students would be well advised to supplement studies with online certification programs in Python for finance or CFA It is good for general management and HR, but not finance.
Limited finance-related extracurricular activities. The student body is active in HR and marketing, while finance industry visits or networking events are the exceptions. Finance aspirants have to find online competitions and industry mentorship programmes
Not good for finance aspirants. Good for general management, but students need to undertake external learning to build financial careers
The infrastructure is decent, with modern classrooms, Hostel facilities are available inside the campus, classrooms are neat and have modern assets like projecter and AC, The canteen provides good quality food and the price is very affordable.
The curriculum is completely industry based, the professors are very well experienced and students and teachers have good relationship between them, seminars and other events like dandiya night fest, kolhal fest etc are organized every year for the students.
Practically MIET , MBA students get placed with an average salary package of 4 LPA. The highest offered is 12 LPA, mostly in marketing, finance, HR, and business analytics roles. Hireyy and some startups based in Gurgaon recruit through campus placements. Internships are very promising with a few students getting placed right in the first year.
The hostel is not very spacious, and therefore, it is competitive to get a room. The mess food is clean with plenty of variety, and the medical center and sports facilities make the college life complete.infrastructure is sufficient enough for computer science students, with well-equipped labs, a clean library, and project-learning centers.
The curriculum is aligned with industry standards and college is affiliated to AKTU Lucknow The CSE department faculty is well-qualified and experienced with expertise in machine learning, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
MIET, has a good placement record for B.Tech CSE students with 60%+ students placed and the remaining students pursuing higher studies or certifications in AI, data science, and cloud computing. The highest salary offered is 14 LPA, the average is approximately 6 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA.
There are well-equipped classrooms with projectors and required teaching aids. The library possesses sufficient books for every course but the Wi-Fi connectivity may be unpredictable. The campus includes a seminar hall and computer laboratories are good , but some of the facilities are poorly maintained.
MBA curriculum is given to enable application in industries like strategic management, business analytics, financial planning but Industrial visits are only organized once in a year, The pass percentage is of the order of 33%, so it is possible for the students with regular practice.
College placement percentage is average where some of the students receive placements in well-established companies, and others do not receive good placements. The median package is around 4 LPA to 5 LPA, which is good for freshers graduating from management but not highly competitive in comparison to elite business schools.
Infrastructure of the campus is well maintained, Mess food is hygienic and has a variety of dishes. There are medical facilities along with good sports infrastructure on the campus,Wi-Fi is not so stable at times but it is not the major issue, classrooms are very clean and have essential requirements.
MIET has a highly experienced and qualified faculty. Faculty adopt a pragmatic learning methodology through business simulations, case studies, and live projects that make the students industry-ready. The curriculum is well structured and aligned to the corporate needs.
The institute conducts placement drives, corporate interactions, and skill development programs to get the students placed in jobs related to HR, finance, marketing, and operations. The highest package is 22 LPA, average is 6 LPA and lowest is 3 LPA.
The campus infrastructure is absolutely fine with an auditorium, media lab, and conference halls for guest lectures, corporate interactions, and seminars. The computer labs have updated systems. The library is completely organised , with a vast collection of business books, financial reports, case studies, and management research articles.
The faculty is experienced and have corporate experience, provide theoretical education as well as practical exposure. The MBA course is also very structured .The semester exams are framed to assess problem-solving skills, case analysis, and decision-making skills, in preparation for actual challenges.
MIET offers average placement facilities and internship opportunities throughout the year. The placement fair, held annually, brings in several recruiters, giving students on-campus interviews. But i think there is a need to bring more good companies instead of field sales companies.
The campus of MIET is well-developed. There are elevators in the buildings. There are separate computer labs, common room, and sports room provided by the institute. The computer lab is well-equipped with a good facility that is air-conditioned. The auditorium is also good. The canteen is at an affordable cost.
The institution's management faculty consists of highly qualified and very good teachers, with some of the professors having industry exposure and research work experience. The course of study in MBA includes core management courses such as financial management, organizational behavior, marketing strategy, operations research, and business analytics.
The MBA students package at MIET, ranges around 2 LPA to 4 LPA. Placements based on technology are not present, but placements in the fields of marketing, finance, HR, and business development are present. There are good placements available for management, consulting, and sales posts.

Hello,
A private university with more tuition and funding would undoubtedly have greater amenities, as would SRM Chennai.
The state government's engineering university, Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), offers government seats that are filled through centralised counselling. MIET is located in Meerut.
As for SRM, well, it is SRM, a private institution, a renowned one at that recognised for standards, and given the tuition they demand, buying a student a placement won't be a tough job. MIET has also had great placements throughout the years. Private universities obtain student placements in this manner.
Here are some details. Your choice is yours to make.
Good Luck!!
