MIET Meerut offers reasonable infrastructure for the MBA students. Classrooms are modern and well-equipped, and the library is neat and well-maintained with a good number of resources. Finance labs or specific tools for advanced finance learning are absent, which could be improved for better skill development.
The curriculum for the MBA is good, with a lot of theoretical learning. Courses for industry-applicable skills on Finance are sparse. Though the HR subjects are supported better with workshops, practical exposure and updated tools in Finance would have upgraded this program.
Most of the placements received at MIET are on the sales and HR streams. Finance-specific job opportunities are not so many so that a student may not favor this if his interest happens to be in specific banking and investments roles. They very frequently look for broader management skills than core finance skills.
The fee structure is moderate and, for worthy students, there are scholarships offered. More skill-enhancing programs and domain-specific internships for students during their course might make the ROI better.
Campus life at MIET is riveting, with several cultural and management events adding glitter. Relaxation from academics is provided by sports facilities and student clubs. Despite being compact, the campus brings pleasant scope for networking and personal growth.
Decent infrastructure at the place, which is the affiliate institute of AKTU, that is MIET. Classrooms were decently spacious with appropriate sitting arrangements. However, not very advanced in using the techs like the presence of smart boards inside them. Libraries were present with lots of business-related books though fewer in terms of digited sources.
Placement support at MIET is decent. Companies like ICICI, Byju's, and HDFC visit regularly, but roles are mostly at the entry-level sales positions. For HR and Marketing, there are limited specialized job opportunities. Networking and internships outside campus are very essential for better exposure.

For HR and Marketing, there are limited specialized job opportunities. Networking and internships outside campus are very essential for better exposure.
The fee structure of the college is more reasonable compared to other private colleges. Students still have the necessity to spend money on additional certifications to remain industry-ready. For students eligible for government scholarships, it reduces the financial burden.
Campus life at MIET is vibrant but not lavish. Clubs and societies occasionally organize events, but MBA students do face a lack of events particularly relevant to their interests. The campus size belies a very close-knit feel, and festivals add a wonderful respite from academics.
The library, labs, and classrooms are well-maintained and have a great learning environment. High-speed Wi-Fi is available 24/7 across the campus. Good food is available in the mess, and the NCC program is excellent, which completes all activities within three years.
All the staff and faculties are friendly and well organized. The labs are okay but need improvement in some of the areas. Air conditioning in classrooms, the library, and in the labs. They have lot of experience.
The placement rate of my batch was around 80-90%. The highest package offered was 9 LPA, and the lowest was 3.6 LPA, with an average ranging between 6-7 LPA. Top recruiters were Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Nagarro, and others.
As it is my first year till now I have good experience,I made a lot of new friends there.
The college provides all sorts of necessary facilities. There are Wi-Fi, a well-stocked library, and IT labs for the students. Overall, quality of food, classrooms, and activities is quite good. Air-conditioned classrooms are also provided to the MBA students.
The teachers are excellent and very supportive. They are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. Course curriculum is relevant and helps prepare the students for industry. Semester exams are not very difficult and manageable.
Excellent placement opportunities and top recruiters visiting the campus include TCS, Bosch, Wipro, Accenture, Deloitte, AWS, and so on with an average package of 3.5 LPA.You can get even more by trying off campus placement.
Mba course is costing me 1.30 Lakh per year here.
The college infrastructure is excellent. Every classroom is equipped with a smartboard connected to the internet. The labs are well-equipped for all required experiments and are well-ventilated. There are two libraries on campus, both free to use, containing all the essential books for studying any subject.
The teachers are very qualified and supportive. Their teaching methods help effectively in learning. The course has relevance. It conducts on-job training, internships, and projects all under the guidance of the faculty. Semester exams are not too tough to handle.
Several people were recruited from the masters batch, while the graduating ones were not yet there-the undergrads. Average remunerations are about 5-6 Lpa. More than 60 percent students get an opportunity in high scale institute like HCL because of this course.
No it is pretty expensive.
Campus life is good I made few new friend's.
Our college provides good infrastructural facilities for the students, such as an e-rickshaw to give easy campus tours, a temple, a cricket ground, and much more. The whole campus, including labs, classrooms, and the library, is free Wi-Fi access. The hostel is extremely comfortable, with clean rooms and well-maintained toilets.
The faculty members are very supportive in academics and in preparation for competitive exams like NET and others. The lab teachers were very helpful with experiments. They prepare students thoroughly before each experiment, and then the students practice it on their own and learn accordingly.
No placements are offered for my course as it is mainly designed to provide students with a degree to pursue further studies like a PhD or similar programs. Moreover, there are no internship opportunities given to this course.
Nice campus life and memories.
The infrastructure is pretty average. Each department has labs, computer labs, and libraries, but the classrooms are not well-equipped and the power supply often faces frequent breakdowns. The mess food here is not very good, but the sports facilities here are brilliant.
The faculty here is well-educated and experienced. Most of them hold PhDs, and many are from IITs. They understand the students well and are supportive in every possible way. The semester exams are not very difficult as well, and with some basic preparation
Placements at this college aren't very good, and the college doesn't offer much support for them. They mainly focus on giving you a degree, but when companies do come for placements, the salary packages are usually quite low.
Fees is not so much here as compared to other colleges offering same courses in delhi ncr.
The college infrastructure is modern and vast, with different buildings for different streams. All the buildings are painted in pink and white, so they look beautiful and impressive. The college provides all the essential facilities required by the students.
The college is affiliated with AKTU and follows all the academic guidelines by the university. The MBA faculty members are highly knowledgeable and have a sound understanding of their subjects and also practical exposure.
Placement opportunities are quite good for MBA. In my previous batch, many students got placed with big companies like Nestle. The college is very forward and co-operates completely with students getting placed.
Yes it is good in terms of money.
Campus life is good
The good thing about the MBA program in MIET, Meerut is it gives a nice and professional atmosphere for learning. Classrooms are big and bright, and the campus is very calm with many green plants. There is good general information, but not much knowledge can be gained from this regarding HR and Operations.
The MBA course in HR and Operations teaches both theory as well as practice. The few very experienced teachers always available, but it could have more case studies as well as contemporary business tools such as SAP. For an HR person, it was hoping more hands on the tooling like CRM software which might have been useful.
Placement results are mixed at MIET. Indeed, the students get jobs in some popular companies, but mostly in sales, and there are few options in HR and Operations. It was frustrating when companies had the first interviews but sent no job offers afterwards. Jobs in some areas require enormous networking and personal efforts.
The fees are relatively low compared to many other MBA programs, and there are government scholarships. However, the return on investment could be more if placement cell had harder to try bringing in diverse companies to come for jobs in the Human Resources and Operations.
Camp life is quite colorful owing to multiple cultural festivals and seminars regularly. The hostels are quite safe provided you happen to be a girl student, otherwise the rooms may seem small particularly during summers when there isn't that much breeze in the room. With these issues, however, the pleasant atmosphere created with friends and the enjoyment at college events made the whole experience worthwhile.
best part is about the campus life and helpful friends, but there are problems like not having enough placements in specific fields and not using modern tools in the curriculum.
Infrastructure for MIET is decent and can be upgraded. The classrooms are usable and well-equipped to an extent but lack modern facility such as interactive boards. The computer labs are reasonable but lack updated software. The greenery in campus gives it a refreshing look making it quite pleasant to stroll around the campus.
It is reasonably priced, hence suitable for various students from all kinds of budgets. However, given there is not so much extensive practical exposure or state-of-the-art facilities, this value for money depends totally on how much effort the student puts into doing things out of class coursework.
Placements for MCA is average with primarily opportunities of IT support and mainly entry level. Most companies visit however prefer local candidates for junior positions as opposed to High tech, networking and personal exertion facilitates better career scope.

However, given there is not so much extensive practical exposure or state-of-the-art facilities, this value for money depends totally on how much effort the student puts into doing things out of class coursework.
MCA student life feels pretty academically centric there aren't many technical events or hackathons but annual fests and cultural events break the monotony as a girl, I always feel safe on campus, and hostel amenities are pretty horrible during summers.
I wanna say that if you are reading this give any competitive exam before taking admission
When choosing between MIET (Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology), Meerut, and KIT (Kanpur Institute of Technology), Kanpur, for a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), several factors should be considered to determine which college might be the better fit for you.
Both colleges have their strengths, but if you're looking for a more established name with a solid track record in placements, MIET, Meerut, might be a better choice. However, KIT, Kanpur, is also a strong contender, especially if you're looking for an institution that is growing rapidly and placing an increasing emphasis on industry connections and practical learning.
Your decision might also depend on other factors like location preference, campus environment, and personal priorities. Visiting both campuses and speaking with current students or alumni could further help in making an informed choice.
hope this helps you!!

Hello,
A private university with more tuition and funding would undoubtedly have greater amenities, as would SRM Chennai.
The state government's engineering university, Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), offers government seats that are filled through centralised counselling. MIET is located in Meerut.
As for SRM, well, it is SRM, a private institution, a renowned one at that recognised for standards, and given the tuition they demand, buying a student a placement won't be a tough job. MIET has also had great placements throughout the years. Private universities obtain student placements in this manner.
Here are some details. Your choice is yours to make.
Good Luck!!
