MET Faculty of Architecture, Moradabad Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

M.E.T. Faculty of Architecture is the college that is affiliated and certified by AICTE and the Council of Architecture, with the B.Arch. program aimed at promoting quality education in the field of Architecture. Being a national-level entrance-operated admission college, B.Arch. applicants are required to qualify in an Aptitude Test in Architecture. The Aptitude Test Paper score of either Joint Entrance Examination or the National Aptitude Test in Architecture is accepted by the college. Apart from those, An Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Examination is also accepted for B.Arch admission into the college.

These entrance examinations judge the candidate's aptitude and skills relevant to a career in architecture. Spatial ability, aesthetic sensitivity, and drawing aptitude are the elements assessed by the tests vital for the success of an architectural career.

Application process

Admission process at MET Faculty of Architecture, Moradabad works as follows:

1. Entrance Exam Registration:

• JEE Main: After checking the dates for application, register in the official JEE Main website. Fill in all required details, upload the necessary documents, and make payment of application fees.
• NATA: Register online for completing the NATA exam and make payment for the registration. Then select a test date.
• UPCET: Apply online through the official portal of UPCET during the given time.

2. Entrance Exam:

• Candidates shall appear in their selected entrance exam (JEE Main Paper 2, NATA or UPCET) on the scheduled date.
• The exam will be conducted online for JEE Main and UPCET in designated centers.
• The NATA exam can be taken either in an online mode at test centers or by an online mode from home.

3. Result Declaration:

• Candidates may check their examination results through the official website.
• Check for eligibility under the qualifying criteria established by MET Faculty of Architecture.

4. Application to MET Faculty of Architecture:

• Go to the website of MET Faculty of Architecture, Moradabad.
• Fill out the online application form for the B.Arch program.

Degree-Wise Admission Process

B.Arch.: The Bachelor of Architecture Program of the MET Faculty of Architecture, Moradabad, is a full-time, five-year undergraduate course. It is open to an intake of about 20 seats. Admissions to the B.Arch. course will be offered through the following rules.

1. Admission Eligibility: Candidates must have successfully completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics being compulsory subjects.

2. Entrance Test: Candidates are to pass either (1) Joint Entrance Examination Main, Paper 2 (B.Arch.), or (2) National Aptitude Test in Architecture. While the former test shall assess drawing aptitude and architectural mathematical aptitude, the latter test shall assess aesthetic sensitivity, drawing & observation skills, sense of proportion, and critical thinking ability.

3. The institute can also accept the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Examination (UPCET) score in the admission process of B.Arch.

The B.Arch admission selection, then, is based on the candidate performance on the qualifying entrance examination, along with an additional weightage for academic records. Under the screening process, the institute may call for the hospitalization of short-listed candidates for the next selection round through counseling/interview.
