Mewat Engineering College, Mewat (MECW Mewat) is an affiliated college situated in Palla, District Nuh, Haryana. It offers Undergraduate programs in engineering and vocational studies. MECW Mewat adopts a rather simple and straightforward merit-based admission process to allow deserving candidates to get admitted to their desired courses.
Just like the educational session, mostly the admission cycle at MECW Mewat begins in the months prior to the commencement of the academic year. For B.Tech programs, admissions primarily take place based on the scores obtained in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. Admission Process by Degree
B.Tech: The five B.Tech programs offered by MECW Mewat include Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The admissions into these programs are based specifically on JEE Main scores. Candidates who meet minimum qualifications on merit basis may, however, be considered in case of vacant seats after the first round. Every B.Tech program has an intake of 60 seats, except for Electronics and Communication Engineering, which has 30 seats.
B.Voc: The college provides two B.Voc programs relating to the following: automobile servicing and renewable energy. Admissions to these programs are on merit and based on candidates' performances at qualifying examinations. B.Voc course intake per program stands at 30.
D.Voc: MECW Mewat offers two D.Voc programs which are as follows: Automobile Servicing and Software Development. The admission process for D.Voc is also merit-based and similar to B.Voc. Each D.Voc program will have an intake of 30 seats.
