MJ College of Engineering and Technology Hyderabad offers admissions to candidates through policies and procedures overseen by the Telangana State Directorate of Technical Education. MJCET Hyderabad admission into the BE/BTech programme is given based on TS EAMCET scores. MJCET Hyderabad admission into the BE/BTech programme through lateral entry is given based on ECET exam scores.
MJCET Hyderabad admission into the ME/MTech programme is given based on GATE/PGECET exam scores. Students belonging to OC and BC must have secured 50% aggregate in 10 + 2 (Intermediate ) level and 45% in optional subjects(MPC) to acquire admissions at MJCET Hyderabad into BE/BTech programmes.

An undergraduate course is the B.E/B. Tech programme which lasts four years. The candidate must fulfil the criteria of Local /Non-local as per the Presidential order of 1963. To be recognized as local, the candidate must have studied for four consecutive years in the state of Telangana from the Preceding academic year.

Eligible students are advised to submit the online or offline MJCET Hyderabad admission application forms.
Aspirants are advised to have valid TS-EAMCET scores.
Diploma holders should have a minimum of 50% for lateral entry admissions with ECET scores.
Merit students are advised to appear on campus on said date and time for further processing.
Shortlisted merit students must appear for the MJCET Hyderabad counselling process.
Based on the evaluation, students are allotted seats during the MJCET Hyderabad counselling session.
Once the allocation of MJCET Hyderabad seats is done, students are advised to pay the MJCET Hyderabad course fee and submit the documents for verification to prove the authenticity of their credentials.
MJCET Hyderabad admission is confirmed for the students who complete all the policies and procedures of the college.

The M.E/M.Tech programme lasts two years and covers its curriculum in semesters. For the M.E. (BME) programme with a specialization in Bio-Medical Electronics, candidates with a B.E. Degree in Bio-Medical Engg. / Electrical and Electronics Engg. / Electronics & Communication Engg. / Instrumentation Engg. or its equivalent are eligible.

Note: Students belonging to the Diploma Stream and students belonging to B.Sc. streams are required to pass the subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering programme along with the second-year subjects.

Students are advised to have GATE/PGECET scores for MJCET Hyderabad PG admission.
Students are advised to have merit acquired in the qualifying examination such as Maths, Physics and Sciences at the Intermediate level to be considered for MJCET Hyderabad admission.

Eligibility Criteria -
1. The candidate must possess a minimum qualification 10 + 2 (Intermediate ) with Mathematics ,Physics and Chemistry (MPC) as optional subjects
2. Candidates belonging to OC and BC must have secured 50% aggregate in 10 + 2 (Intermediate ) level and 45% in optional subjects(MPC)
3. Candidates belonging to Reserved Category, Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe must have secured 45% aggregate and 40% in optional subjects (MPC).
4. Candidate should also have qualified in Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Government of Telengana.
5. The candidate must fulfill the criteria of Local /Non-local as per the Presidential order of 1963. To be recognized as local, the candidate must have studied for four Consecutive years in the state of Telangana from the Preceding academic year.
