There are no proper classroom for mba department, students keep moving from one room to another. You don't get proper breaks and whenever you do get lunch break there is food in canteen. There is wifi for mba students but half of the time it doesn't work.
The curriculum is outdated. There are very few teachers who are knowledgeable. Half of them just give ppts and expect you to learn everything on your own. The outside faculty is decent and you can learn a lot from them. but the syllabus is so outdated and half of the things that you need to get a job are not taught here,
Hardly any companies come in this college for MBA students. Don't believe their website. I don't know how it was in my previous batches though. Teachers are only interested in making the placement broucher but not in exactly the placement.
The fees is above 4 lakhs for the whole course and it is not worth it. Please work hard and take some more time if you need but go to a better college for your mba. They also keep asking money for donation for various trust and events that we don't even get to attend.
There are 2 events organized by MBA department every year, if you work during those and help the teachers they will probably start liking you and thats the best thing you can do for yourself in here otherwise they don't give a damn about you, just pay the fees and get the degree.
I would not recommend this college. If you can study a little bit more and go to a better college. PG degree is very important please don't waste your money and time here. I wish i could write good things but the cons outweigh the pros by a lot and nobody should take that risk when it comes to their education.
Our college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. All the classes have smart boards, WiFi and it is often used and it is in good condition. Classrooms are spacious and cleaned daily
I'm persuading b.com accounting and finance in this college. Teaching quality is very well and when it comes to academics our college is one of the top arts college in the city. Our curriculum is updated to the latest version and amendments of the subject.
The quality of placements is outstanding in our college.. lots of companies come every yr for placements and college is very supportive in the placement concern of every student... The process is though difficult but we have lot of staffs to help and make it pleasant
For our course there are 6 semesters and each semester cost RS 22000. I feel it's actually worth for doing this course with this money.. Compared to other colleges our college courses cost less.. so it's worth
Worst feature of our college is it has very small area and there is no big ground and has only one block which can be also said as apartment.. Best feature is it is safe and surrounded with safety precautions.. Seniors, teachers and soo supportive and very friendly in nature. Most of the time there will be a police patrol car..and it is safe and can handle emergencies
Though our college is small in area and cannot enjoy big campus structure...but it is a wonderful college and we can easily adapt into it..and all students are guaranteed with good acadamics and other curricular activities. So overall we can say it is one of the best college for arts for womens
Hi Brindha, you are very much eligible to apply for Msc. Food Technology and management program in MOP Vaishnav college. There is an entrance exam for the same. All the best.
Hello Student
Stella Maris College Chennai and MoP Vaishnav college for women in Chennai both have the same demand for Bcom seats and BCom (honors) seat also.
For this year the cut off for Bcom and BCom honours seat in both of the college's came to 790 on 800. Because college authorities admission department is waiting for the result of CBSE that carries the high percentage of cut off marks for Bcom and BCom honours seats.
Hope this helps.
