DURATION - The duration of the Ph.D programme will be from the date of provisional registration to the date of submission of the thesis. The candidate can register for Ph.D. course either as full-time or as a part-time research scholar.

Ph.D. programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
