Mumbai Veterinary College (BVC Mumbai), is a very old and prestigious veterinary college in India. It is situated in Parel, Mumbai, and is a constituent college approved by the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR).
The admission procedure at Mumbai Veterinary College is such that it chooses the most deserving candidates. For undergraduate courses, specifically the B.V.Sc. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) course, admissions are made according to the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET). It ensures that only the best students are selected for the program.
For postgraduation and Ph.D., admission is mostly based on merit. The college has different M.V.Sc. (Master of Veterinary Science) and Ph.D. courses, with their respective admissions. But every one of them focuses on academics and research acumen.
Application Process
The application process of Mumbai Veterinary College is different for different courses:
For B.V.Sc. course:

For Ph.D. courses:

2. Fill in the application form for the desired Ph.D. course.
3. Submit all the required documents, such as postgraduate degree certificates, research proposals, and letters of recommendation.
4. Attend entrance tests and/or interviews as required by the department.
5. If shortlisted, finalize the admission formalities and join the doctoral program.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.V.Sc.: This is the flagship undergraduate course at Mumbai Veterinary College. Admission to B.V.Sc. is on the basis of the performance of the candidate in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET). Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology to be eligible for this course.
M.V.Sc.: The college provides 18 specializations at the M.V.Sc. level. Veterinary Anatomy and Histology, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Microbiology, and Veterinary Nuclear Medicine are a few of them. M.V.Sc. admission is purely on merit. The candidates should hold a B.V.Sc. degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
Ph.D.: 15 Ph.D. courses are offered by Mumbai Veterinary College in different disciplines like Veterinary Anatomy and Histology, Animal Genetics and Breeding, Veterinary Microbiology, and Veterinary Pathology. Admission in Ph.D. courses is also merit-based. The applicants should possess a master's degree in the concerned discipline to become eligible for these courses.

BVSc colleges Candidate must to obtain 7632-8391 for NT-C Catagory students, Actually NT-C Catagory which comes under OBC catagory and NT-C is basically in Maharashtra State in which you need minimum 50% marks is required for completing the course. The full of form of BVSc is Bachelor of Veterinary Science which is for undergraduate students and you go for NEET so it conducts enterance exams of MBBS and BDS programmes.
Total 47 BVSc colleges in India. Course duration is 5.5 which is divided into 10 semesters and 1 year is compulsory for Internship.
Candidate must have completed 12 standard with subjects like Physics, chemistry and Biology and also English from recognised board.

For NT-C Catagory students should have obtained marks around 350-400+ to gain a veterinary Colleges. The percentile for NT-C Catagory,NEET 2022 Cutoff is 50th percentile and NEET Cut-off marks is 720-138. Actually NT-C Catagory is comes under OBC catagory which is mainly in Maharashtra. The seats are limited for NT-C Catagory students their is reservation process in which OBC students 27% reservation in veterinary Colleges in India of NEET- Reservation criteria 2022 under AIQ scheme.
