Located at Thane in Maharashtra, Nallasopara Ayurved Medical College is one of the prime institutions for Ayurveda learning. The affiliated college was established in 1992 and has been developing aspiring Ayurvedic students for more than three decades. With a small area of 0.75 acres, the college provides an ideal setting where students can focus on learning. The institution has an total enrolment of 270 students on board and is supported by 24 experienced faculty members who are dedicated to the growth of the students.

The Nallasopara Ayurved Medical College has a considerable number of infrastructural facilities, all of which are designed to enrich the learning experience of the students. Right at the center of all these is the well-stocked library that turns out to be a treasure in Ayurvedic literature. It houses a huge collection of course-related books, reference books, and journals—national and international—to provide enormous resources to acquire in-depth knowledge about Ayurveda. The library also comprises an E-Library section. The departments have maintained departmental laboratories wherein students have the facility to practice theoretically acquired knowledge.

The only flagship program that Nallasopara Ayurved Medical College offers is the four-headed Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery program, abbreviated as BAMS. This rigorous course spans a period of six years on a full-time basis, with an approved capacity intake of 60 students per year, thus going on to show that the institution is dedicated to preserving a good student-teacher ratio. The BAMS course is designed to provide deep knowledge of Ayurveda principles and practice so as to equip the students to face successful careers in this ancient system of medicine.

Nallasopara Ayurved Medical College's admission procedure is based on merit and conducted on a structured basis. Candidates who wish to take admissions are required to appear for the Common Entrance Test, which is conducted by the Association of Management of Private Unaided Medical and Dental Colleges Maharashtra- AMUPMDC. The Entrance Examination is known as AMUPMDC, conducted to choose an admission seeking candidate for the BAMS course. The national-level medical entrance test, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), is also scored by this college.
