Degree wise Admission Process

BA Programs: Admission into BA Programs of Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, and History is done on the basis of merit. The merit list for admission is thus drawn from the marks that each candidate obtains in the qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination.

B.Sc. Programs: Admission to the B.Sc. courses in the Mathematics Group, Biology Group (Self Finance), and Statistics Group courses is strictly on the merit of 10+2 qualification with Science subjects. The college also imparts B.Sc. in Home Science under a self-financing scheme.

B.Com (Self Finance): For B.Com admission, merit derived from the 10+2 examination is applied for admission, giving preference to those students from the commerce stream under self financing.

B.Ed.: The application for the B.Ed. program is done through the prescribed procedure laid down by the state government and the university concerned to which the institution is affiliated and may involve the entrance test, as well as devised from the qualifying degree.

LLB: In the case of the LLB program, the marks obtained by students in their qualifying degree are considered, along with other established criteria by the Bar Council of India or affiliated universities.

M.A. Programs: Admission for the master's programs in Sociology, Sanskrit, Economics, English, Hindi, History, Political Science, and Drawing and Painting is on merit based on the qualifying bachelor's degree in the relevant subject.

M.Sc. Programs: Admission is granted in M.Sc. programs in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry based on merit from the bachelor's degree in the respective science discipline.

M.Ed.: Admission to M.Ed. is merit-based, either on the basis of the B.Ed. degree and may involve an entrance examination according to National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and affiliated university regulations.

Ph.D. Programs: The Ph.D. degree programs at the college cover different disciplines. Generally, written test and/or interview regulated by the affiliated university and the University Grants Commission is adopted for the admission procedure.

The faculty is well experienced and qualified, particularly in their field of specialization. The faculty is helpful and offers appropriate guidance to students, but there is ample self-study needed. The course curriculum is proper with the correct subjects being delivered, but industry interaction and practical training can be enhanced. Examination standards are average, and the students can achieve good marks by maintaining consistent effort.

Placement is worst from the campus.

The faculty is good and cooperative. They complete syllabus in the given time limit and send regular internal tests to monitor students' performance. There is a friendly relationship between students and teachers that is stimulating, enhancing positive learning. Tests are also regularly organized by the management, which contribute to preparation for final exams as well as enhance performance.
