You do burst cells when you sit down on broken glass or a pile of pins. The experience is painful and messy. But let's assume you were referring to sitting on a flat chair, in which case you do indeed burst very few of the cells in your body. Why is this? The answer lies in the difference between sitting on broken glass and sitting on a flat chair. When you sit on a flat surface, your entire weight is spread over the large surface area of your rear. There are millions of cells per square inch of skin, so the weight that each individual cell experiences when you sit down is actually quite small. This effect is one of the great advantages to having a body made out of very small, self-contained subunits. In contrast, when you sit on an upright pin, much of your weight gets focused to just a handful of cells and they do indeed burst. Sharp objects are so good at cutting because they deliver a moderate total force over a very small area.
Hi aspirant, since you have 87000 as your CRL and your category rank id 13000 so based on that I can say that at this rank range it is difficult for you to get admission in NIT, Rourkela unless and until you belong or hold any reservation criteria and since you have your criteria there are chances for you to get into the NIT, Rourkela but there also there are the chances that you may not get the CSE or IT branches but you still have chances to opt any core engineering branches.
Thank You.

Hello Bidyut,
Admission in most engineering - most of which are state engineering institutes - is through Assam CEE. JEE Main scores are most likely used for admission only at NIT Silchar.
Regards.
It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category
However It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced
But the previous cut offs of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly
For the college preferences and the courses provided by these colleges and to know which colleges participate in the JOSAA counselling, please go to the below mentioned link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-participating-institutes/amp
