UPES B.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked #42 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest CTC 50 LPA , 100% Placements
Hello Aspirant,
See if you belongs to General category then on such rank it would be very difficult for you to get any of the college through either JOSAA or CSAB counselling because usually the rank closes for General candidate around 67000-68000 in JOSAA counselling till last rounds and that too for GFTIs. Now CSE on such rank is much more difficult because there is huge competition for it and the rank closes for it around 30k.
But still you can participate in JOSAA counselling, you might get allotted a seat this time as we saw a slight dip in the cut-offs, so you can give a try and yes if you are seeking for CSE branch then keep it in priority during choice filling for JOSAA counselling.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Hello,
In 2020 a candidate with rank 17845 belonging to general category secured admission to MCA in Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology. Considering the previous year cut off you have decent chances to get seat in MCA in CBIT. However, cut off changes every year depending on total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
To check the previous year cut off click on the link given below

Hello Kevan ,
You haven't mentioned your category.
I'm assuming that you're from General Category. There is no fixed cut off of any branch but you have to score at least 48000 in CRL or 80-90% percentile score to get a seat for sure in B.tech CSE branch at SIT pune.
You can check all the needed information and admission process of SIT pune through the following link.....

Hope this helps
Good luck !
Hello,
Jadavpur University and Calcutta University both are goverment college. So if you give the WBJEE examination but didn't take part for counselling then you can't get admission this colleges for particular courses, like Technology, pharmacy etc.
But if you want to take admission there for any regular subject like honours in mathematics as example then you can apply it. Because regular bachalor degree you can apply without any entrance examination, the admission going on basis of your marks like 12th merit list.
All the best.
Dear,
You didn't mention in which branch you want to take admission.
Taking your JEE mains in consideration you must be a B.TECH aspirant.
So you are eligible for counselling in OJEE but you should have a valid JEE Main score. However, if seats are left vacant after admitting the candidates on the basis of JEE Main scores then the board conducts a separate entrance exam known as special OJEE. Candidates have not been able to appear in the JEE (Main) examination due to any reason will be able to apply for admission. A separate merit list will be released by the authorities for JEE Main qualified candidates and OJEE special qualified candidates.
For more information about OJEE you can visit the link given below,

Best of luck..
Hello, aspirant.
Given that your EWS category rank is 37K, your overall AIR is likely to be above or near 210K. And, you may not get admitted to any NIT institute with this rating. Ok! So you can apply to any government-funded colleges or pursue a path to private engineering schools. Overall, depending on your rating, you can attend any of the GFTIs or private institutions.
Furthermore, you can anticipate your own college using the Careers360 College Predictor tool (see below) based on your ranking in any category.

Best wishes.
Hi aspirant,
You should have edited your details during the correction window itself but is not a major problem. You can try writing a request email to ntanationaltestingagency@gmail.com, jeemain-nta@nic.in but if in case there is no reply or help you can write the advanced exam (if qualified) as you did in jee main.
At the time of counseling you will need to carry a self attested affidavit claiming both the persons are same and it should be supported by valid documents. The verification officer will most probably approve the request and it will be sorted.
Hope it helps!!
Hi
Your profile suggests that its about AP EAMCET
It is difficult to predict because cut off / closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon several factors like
******** number of aspirants which appeared in AP EAMCET( new name APEAPCET)
******** Toughness or difficulty level of Ap EAMCET examination
******** number of seats available for different branches
******** number of students from different categories i. e general/obc/sc/st etc
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then as per 2019 cut off available at
https://cache.careers360.mobi/media/uploads/froala_editor/files/2019-cutoff.pdf
With 17667 rank, considering your category as oc
You have chances in colleges like
ANIL NEERUKONDA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCI:- EEE:-20465
MADANAPALLY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCI-2nd SHIFT:-CSE :-20474
G V P COLLEGE FOR DEGREE AND PG COURSES, VISAKHAPATNAM:- CSE:-22086
RAGHU ENGINEERING COLLEGE:- CSE :-23801
And more
In order to help you get the complete list of colleges that you can get, we have Ap EAMCET college predictor for you the link for the same is given below
https://www.careers360.com/ap-eamcet-college-predictor
It gives you a personalised report on the basis of your rank, category, gender etc with the help of which you can fill your choices of colleges in the counselling and grab a seat.
Thankyou
Not only sv university any other university it may be in AP or TS you can get a free seat only if your EAMCET exam rank is below 10000 and you parents annual income is below 100000 per annum.
If you donot posses any of these two then you will not be eligible to get free seat.
As per the information available online, TCS allows all branches to participate in the placements. But the point is that one should have a sufficient knowledge in coding in order to get placed. So if you are from a non-CSE/IT background and still you want to go for that genre of jobs then you need to work on coding skills and you have to learn the coding languages such as JAVA, SQL, C, C++ etc. So if you are wiling to go for CSE related jobs you have to put some efforts apart from your curriculum.
