Hello Aspirant,

It is bit difficult to predict you very exactly that whether you will get qualified for JEE-Advance or not because the qualifying cut-off percentiles which needs to be cleared by any candidate to sit in JEE-Advance is released along with the final result of JEE-Main and for JEE-Main 2021 the final result will be released after all four attempts will be completed but based on previous year's cut-off trends we can help you with the expected qualifying cut-offs for this year :-

  • Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
  • GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75 Percentile
  • Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile
  • PwD - 1-2 Percentile

So according to the above table you have some chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2021 but still we have to wait for final result of JEE-Main 2021.

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2021 but expected on the basis of previous year's analysis. You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

  • Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile

Dear msshakyasingha,

The eligibility to give the AIEEE exam is that you must complete your higher secondary examination from a recognized board with Science stream and a minimum of 60% marks . Since you are  still in class 12 so I prefer that after clearing your board exams you can attempt the AIEEE examination.

All the best for your future.

Hello candidate,

For the academic session 2021, the national testing agency has prepared a relaxation of 75% marks in the Board examinations for the JEE advanced examination.

Moreover, if we consider the previous year trends into account the minimum marks required for a General candidate to appear for the JEE advanced examination was 75% while for other categories such as scheduled castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Physically Impaired Sections, the minimum Eligibility requirement for Board results was 65%.

Hope you found it helpful. For more details you can visit https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-eligibility-criteria/amp

Dear student,

Are you willing to do job now itself or want to study further ? Once decide in this regard. If you are confused between these two then sit for Placements, if you get job which you like and which you are willing to do then go for it and if not go for further studies.

Sitting in Placements will help you in understanding how the hiring process would be and makes you familiar with it because after completing MBA also you may go for job there you need to face interviews and all. So always it is better to have idea about the process so that you can do it better.
