Nannapaneni Venkat Rao College of Engineering and Technology (NVREC), Guntur, is an AICTE-approved institution that offers a range of engineering courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma levels. NVREC's admission process is primarily on the basis of state-level entrance tests as per the norms set by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: NVREC offers seven B.Tech courses with an intake of 330. All the courses are offered on AP EAMCET ranks. The specializations available are Computer Science and Engineering (120 seats), Electronics and Communication Engineering (60 seats), Civil Engineering (30 seats), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (30 seats), Mechanical Engineering (30 seats), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (30 seats), and Data Science (30 seats). The applicants must have passed 10+2 with PCM subjects and be AP EAMCET qualified to qualify.

M.Tech: Two M.Tech programs are available in the college, namely Digital Electronics and Communication Systems, and Structural Engineering with 24 seats each. Admissions are given on the basis of AP PGECET rankings. The applicants must possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in the specific branch to be eligible for these courses.

Diploma: NVREC offers diploma courses in Computer Engineering (90 seats), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (30 seats), Electronics and Communication Engineering (30 seats), and Mechanical Engineering (30 seats). The admission in these courses is offered based on the scores of AP POLYCET. The requirement is generally passing 10th standard or equivalent exam.
