Hi, NSFC is THE ONLY government college in whole asia which offers this course.The first batch of B.E. Fire engineering graduated in the year 1982 and it had 22 students ( approx). Today all of them are the head of one or the other department. Eg- Mr.G.C Mishra was a student of 1st batch and today(2017) he is the Director of Delhi Fire Service.The course is one of its kind and NFSC has a rich background, powerful aluminis and modern infrastructure. I am not aware of the last year cutoffs but this year(2017) the last student admitted in general category had a rank of 144k. Next year the cutoffs are going to be below 100k.Considering your rank you there is a fair chance that you can get into bpt in IPU. So don't missout the registration process. The placements at NFSC nagpur are very good.Many PSU sectors and oil sectors that come for placements are GAIL,SAIL,BHEL, ONGC and private companies like Reliance, L&T, etc. recruited the students.The highest salary offered was 22 lakhs  per annum by Kuwait Petrochemicals Limited and the lowest was by L&T 8 lakhs  per annum.Students are offered the role of senior engineer, health and safety officer, station officer, sub officer and divisional officer.

Right in whole country the unofficial language of Hinglish is spoken in day to day life as students also prefer that only. It helps the students to grab the knowledge that the teacher wants the students to grasp further since the college is of engineering so the use of mobile phones might not be a problem in the hostel.

The lecturers can teach either in English or In Hindi.they choose the language in which they find teach easily.

Some professors may speak and teach in english because they might feel better communicating in english with the students but if a student asks a question in hindi they do reply the answer in hindi too.

While some professors teach in hindi because its easier to make people understand things faster using their common language.

But one should also learn and try to communicate in english,this is not necessary but can be helpful in some or the other ways.

You can also ask the proffesor to teach you in the language you find easy to understand, he will surely help you

If we talk about cell phones, no professor allows student to use their cell phone during the lecture for their personal use but if a professor wants to share something or teach something using your phone he can ask and allow you to use your cell..

Except during the lectures you are allowed to use your phone everywhere.

You can even use your phone in hostel also.

It is very common nowadays.
