Degree-wise Admission Procedure
B.Tech/BE: NHITM offers six BE programs, each with a different intake capacity:
1. BE Computer Engineering: This is the flagship program with the highest intake of 120 seats. Admission is based on JEE Main or MHT-CET scores, followed by the CAP process.
2. BE Computer Science and Design: The intake is 60 seats. Candidates qualifying through JEE Main or MHT-CET have to get admitted through the CAP process.
3. BE Civil Engineering: 60 seats are available. For admission, a candidate has to qualify for JEE Main or MHT-CET followed by their CAP rounds.
4. BE Artificial Intelligence and Data Science: This course also has 60 seats. Admission to this course is similar to all other BE courses. It takes scores from JEE Main or MHT-CET.
5. BE Mechatronics Engineering: The institute has 30 seats for this course. Admission to this course is also based on the performance of the entrance exam and CAP counseling.
6. BE Mechanical Engineering: This has an intake of 30 seats. The same admission process applies as for any other BE courses in NHITM.
