Admission to the above programs is on the basis of AP EAMCET scores. The total intake for B.Tech courses is 480; the highest intake is Computer Science and Engineering, with 180 seats.

M.Tech Programs: NIST offers M.Tech programs in CAD CAM, Structural Engineering, and Thermal Engineering. The main score for admission is given to the GATE/AP PGECET combination. Each M.Tech program has an intake of 18 seats. A candidate must have a relevant B.Tech or equivalent degree to apply.
