NSHM Kolkata UG Admission 2023

NSHM Kolkata UG admissions are based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam. Candidates must appear for NSHM Personality and Aptitude Test (NPAT). To get admission in BPharma course, candidates must appear for JEE conducted by CBSE or WBJEE.

BBA	30-120	Passed 12th from a recognized board with English as a subject + Valid score in NSHM Personality and Aptitude Test (NPAT) is mandatory.
BCA	30-60	Passed 12th from a recognized board with English and Mathematics/Statistics/Business Mathematics/Computer Science + Valid score in NPAT is mandatory.

NSHM Kolkata BPharma Admission Process 2023

Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria.
Candidates must appear for WBJEE conducted by CBSE/WBJEE (For lateral entry appear for WB JELET).
Participating in the centralised WBJEE counselling is the next step and students will be allotted a seat accordingly.

Academics

Many good professors left the campus, however few good professors are there. Only 3 electives are there. Often there is mass bunk and academics are suffered since teachers are reluctant to teach the few students who come despite mass bunk.

Academics

Teachers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Classes are made interactive sessions, where one enjoys learning. Exams are conducted semester wise. Teachers also give home assignments. Reading material is provided for exams.

Good College For M.Sc Data Science in WB

Academics

Being a M.Sc data science student I can assure that faculties are really good and will help students with all types of educational help they need. Daily at least 5 hours of classes are available with proper notes and hands-on lab experience. Course curriculum is good but it can be better with the inclusion of some topics such as linear algebra and calculus.

Nshm kolkata or nshm durgapur is better for pharmacy

Hello,

B pharma is excellent, especially in NSHM Kolkata which is better than NSHM Durgapur

The only branch of this college with the best faculty.Also average is placement.

You must outperform the remaining 75% of candidates because they have agreements with only a few select businesses.

They selected the top candidates.If you are one of the 75% of pupils, it will be really difficult for you.

They take an entrance exam to get in. Otherwise, a small non-refundable admission fee must be paid at the back office.

My WBJEE PMR rank is 16868 and OBC B rank is 1519. Can I get admission in B pharm in NSHM, kolkata??

Dear Samya ,

First of all, WBJEE admission is totally based on GMR/PMR only and not on Category ranks . category ranks are just for storing information of candidates .

Well, as per last year WBJEE cut off details after 3rd round of counselling , you have less chances to get B.Pharm in NSHM college campus , Kolkata

Last year cut off in this college was - 11096

But , this cut off can change every year for some unavoidable reasons like:

Seat Matrix
Difficulty level of exam
No of students appeared etc.

The eligibility of Nshm kolkata is to pass 10+2 with pcm for b pharma so can pcb students study there for b pharma??

Its clearly mentioned that only PCM Students can pursue the B.Pharma Course in NHSM Kolkata, so if you are a student of PCB, then you are not eligible for this course.

The eligibility criteria for B.Pharma in NHSM Kolkata is as follows :

Passed 10+2 level examination from a recognized board with English and PCM.

Minimum marks 45% (5% relaxation for students from reserved categories).

Qualified JEE conducted by CBSE or WBJEE.

Lateral Entry - Diploma holders who have qualified West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (WBJELET).
