Bethune College has one of the best teaching faculties in Kolkata, especially in the English department. Everyone is well qualified and expert in their fields. However, the curriculum is offered by Calcutta University and hence, is not updated and follows an old syllabus. No disciplinary syllabus with recent developments.
Classes are held diligently and regularly in most departments barring a few, but the syllabus is always completed on time. Most professors provide notes and study materials and provide ample help in understanding and studying concepts, and also are friendly and teach well.
