Faculties are the most experienced ones. They have an integrated system to guide and help every students for their reference and study purpose. Nobody will have to take external notes for exams. The professors are always there!

Yes there's some guarantee of placements if you study hard and stay in contact with the authorities. The college basically emphasizes on skill enhancement and character building abilities. Mass communication, marketing students get easy placements.

No hidden charges, semester wise fees structure and transparency exist. No extra amount will be deducted.

The college has a basic infrastructure, nothing short of a private one. It has non-AC classrooms for the art building. The library has a vintage outlook, and most old books are available. There's no wifi. The canteen food is decent and there's a hostel in Salt Lake, quite far from the campus.

Bethune College has one of the best teaching faculties in Kolkata, especially in the English department. Everyone is well qualified and expert in their fields. However, the curriculum is offered by Calcutta University and hence, is not updated and follows an old syllabus. No disciplinary syllabus with recent developments.

There are no placement cells in the college. We got a few offers from TCS and Wipro, however, with low-income packages. For other departments too, there were no concrete placements, so you can't expect companies to come and pick up applications.

It's a full government college so the fees are minimal. We had to pay about Rs.1200/- per semester. Science departments need to pay more due to their lab activities. Sufficient scholarships are offered to students coming from underprivileged classes. One can get your money's worth.

Bethune College holds the Bengali culture to its core. There are no hard and fast rules on campus, like strictness with ID cards or dress codes. The environment is completely safe for girls and no men (except authorities and during fests) can enter the campus. It's also a ragging free campus. No bullies are tolerated hence.

The infrastructure of the college is pretty decent given the intake capacity. It's surely not lavish and elaborate like an Amity or other private colleges, but the area is moderately sprawling with big enough but old classrooms, beautiful hallways and century old stable buildings and some new zones as well. There's drinking water, canteen, photocopier etc facilities too. Most classrooms are traditional with a few audio visual or smart classes.

Classes are held diligently and regularly in most departments barring a few, but the syllabus is always completed on time. Most professors provide notes and study materials and provide ample help in understanding and studying concepts, and also are friendly and teach well.

Enough placement offers come to the college. I myself was Deputy of Placement Cell Coordinator in 2022-23, and many companies came to the college for drives, even big names like TCS. Many students apply for the placement offers and get jobs.

The fees are dirt-cheap and extremely easy on the pocket for everyone. The extra fees to be paid include 1.5k development fees every year and the examination fees which are around 700-800/- every semester. The actual tuition fees range from 1200-1500/-. The quality of education and other opportunities provided to us in exchange for that amount of money is astounding.

The campus life is very peaceful here, which moderate amount of discipline always expected from us. We hang out after classes in the hallways, in the canteen and the lush greenery surrounding the buildings never fall short of a treat for the eyes especially in the hot summers. There's a lot of extracurricular activities going on in the college especially seminars, functions, etc. NSS unit is very active here and all students more or less have a lot of fun and engagement.

The classrooms are clean and well equipped. They have projectors in every class. But the condition of the washrooms is very poor. The food needs to be more hygienic as well. Sports facilities need to be updated too.

I studied Chemistry Hons. as it's my favourite subject. The quality of teaching is beyond outstanding. The curriculum of Calcutta University is well updated and it definitely makes us job ready. Experience at Bethune will always be special.

As it's a graduation degree that I did from Bethune College, so I'm not very sure about placements but one who passes from Bethune College will always be well appreciated in the future, wherever that person goes.

The course fee was very less. And it was way more than my money's worth. Bethune College will always remain the closest to my heart. Starting from teaching to friends, everything was perfect when it came to Bethune.

I made my first ever and best friends in Bethune College. The campus life, though it was only for one and a half years, was amazing. The professors were amazing too. Well, sometimes we had our share of complaints too, but overall, it was an amazing experience in Bethune.

Our college has dedicated class rooms, smart board, projector. Also has a big library, a big sports ground. Our college has a canteen and the food is good for us. Our department has AC and also the classrooms were very clean.

This is the first girls college in kolkata and also very prestigious. The quality of teaching is very much appreciated. Our faculties are very much knowledgeable and also helpful. Our queries were solved by them everytime.

Our college has a placement cell. Every year many renown companies has come and recruit our students. I have got selected for TCS in the year 2018 from this college with a hastle free process. And also career building workshops are there.

Our collage have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Our classroom is very neat and clean and very comfortable. The book we need are easily obtained from the library. There is free wifi which we can use etc. The living place is clean and the food is delicious and hygienic.

I am studying English because I love literature... Teachers teaches us very well... They care about our students. The study makes my future litarely... because English is available everywhere. It's helpful.

Very good placement.... Highest salary is 15 lakh... average salary 8 lakh per year... The placement process is very easy for me... our collage is very supportive. All members of our collage support everyone,each and every student.

Corse cost per year 10000, I feel nothing getting money.. because it's paidable

If you are thinking of getting admitted to a college as shown in those bollywood movies, then this college might not be your choice. Bethune College is a piece of beauty and heritage. The college is well equipped with all necessary equipments and have all facilities including libraries, wifi, sport centres, laboratories. The college has even some classrooms equipped with air conditioners. The canteen food is not very tasty but it's not that bad too.

I am a second year economics honours student. The teaching facilities and the teachers of the Economics department are all amazing. They continuously support you and encourage you like your family. Even during online classes, the teachers have not only helped us with their best of providing us all sorts of knowledge , notes but have also tried to be there for us in our personal needs also.

I don't have much idea about the placements here , but being one of the best reputed government colleges of India, you can expect good placement opportunities . As heard by some seniors , the placements here are good with a handsome salary.

Being a fully government college, the course doesn't cost much. The annual cost per year is maximum of Rs 1500/-. Definitely the college is worth the cost.

The college campus is really pretty with lots of greenery around. The college has its own students committee and you can take parts in various clubs of the college such as photography club , literary club etc. The students , teachers all are very nice. The college is at hedua, which is not much far from howrah railway station. Even metro facilities are available nearby.

You can expect a nice environment in the college. The students here are really talented so you can learn a lot from them too. Moreover you can discover amazing cafeterias and food stalls nearby.

Well-equiped and properly-facilitated government college with right infrastructure for better studies and universal learning. Campus is ordinarily clean, accurate meals in university canteen. Hygeinic. WiFi, smart classrooms, projectors and so forth available.

As the college is one of the highly rated College in Kolkata, the high-quality of teaching is a lot excellent. It's so far one of the best three colleges for UG inside the subject of Psychology, so i'm very glad to be a part of this institution. The profession counselling cell, presents a lot of opportunity for future endeavours.

I don't know about placements because I didn't opted for it. I wanted to pursue higher studies in my field so went for it. I guess placements were pretty good. I can't say for sure, but as far as i heard from my friends, it was good.

The costs in Bethune college is very less as compared to all different colleges underneath calcutta university, as it's a government College. To get admission in this college Rs. 1371/- is needed. Within Rs. 3000/- you'll be able to complete their bsc hons degree path. So, in short it's very cheap.

It is very eco pleasant campus and all of the buildings are heritage constructing. Cultural programmes are held in our university. Each year maximum of the departments take the students for picnic at the time of winter. Overall campus life is great.

It's infrastructure is great and since it is old there might be some issues but overall its great, with all the needed infrastructure, laboratories, facilities, and equipment. Classrooms, laboratories and especially the library is of great help. hygiene maintenance is ok. Toilets can be much cleaner if paid attention.

I studied bsc major in economics. I have constantly loved arts and economics. The professors are fantastic at what they do. They honestly help you apprehend and love what you study. This College is exceptional and i am happy that i decided to study here, it really helped me in building my career.

The college does not have a placement cell. They have higher studies option . Placement isn't presented though internships are available for those who want. Which absolutely prepares you for being an intern, it also encourages on every occasion to join seminars to open paths for new destiny.

Totally valuable as fas as money is considered. The fees is low and affordable. 100% value for money is provided in terms of everything.

College infrastructure is good. We have well maintained laboratories, classroom and libraries. But our college does not have any good facility for sports. Also our college does not have any facility for hostel. Canteen food is hygienic and cost is low.

Academics, overall in our college is good. When the semester knocks at the door they give very much pressure, that pretty much happens in every college. But all the teachers take good care of students. And the teaching equipment and method is very good.

Placement in our college is satisfactory. It is a honours college so most of the students opts for higher studies. But percentage of people who gets placed after B.Sc is satisfactory and better than many colleges.

The overall college fee is very less and affordable for every type of students. The overall cost is Rs.1460(per semester). And when compared to the fee the overall infrastructure, academics, is outstanding.

Campus life is very good but the rules and regulations in our college is very strict. The college is very green and rich with heritage as it is the oldest girls' college of India. The seniors are very helpful. Cultural fests and various other programs are common in my college.
