PBR Visvodaya Engineering College in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, is one of the institutions of higher learning where several engineering programmes are open for admission through laid-down procedures. The major entrance examinations for the B.Tech and M.Tech admission procedures are the AP EAMCET and AP PGECET. Some of the particular PBR Visvodaya Engineering College admission procedures are starting sometime after the announcement of the results of entrance examinations. To meet eligibility for B-Tech programmes, a candidate generally must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. Different B-Tech courses available are Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
In the case of a graduate student course for postgraduate students, M.Tech and MBA programmes are requirements for candidates to have completed their respective undergraduates. Highway Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering are the M.Tech programmes available. An MBA programme is also available to those pursuing management careers. Prospective candidates for PBR Visvodaya Engineering College must watch for the dates of the AP EAMCET and AP PGECET because these examinations take place every year. The examination authorities announce the dates for both exams, as well as the time of the counselling where applicants will select courses they wish to take.
Depending on the programme, PBR Visvodaya Engineering College follows an application process:
The college provides five courses.
PBR Visvodaya Engineering College admission in B.Tech programmes is strictly on a merit basis as per AP EAMCET. The college offers five streams of B.Tech programmes in different capacities for intake: Electronics and Communication Engineering (120 seats), Computer Science and Engineering (120 seats), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (120 seats), Civil Engineering (60 seats), and Internet of Things (60 seats). Candidates must qualify in the AP EAMCET examination and attend counselling for the allotment of seats.
There are 24 and 18 seats in PBRVITS for M.Tech in Highway Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering programmes, respectively. PBR Visvodaya Engineering College admission shall be based on AP PGECET for the aforementioned programmes. To be eligible for admission, candidates must possess a B.Tech or equivalent qualification. Also, admission may rely on shortlisting based on the entrance examination and/or interview.
The institution offers an MBA programme that can accommodate 60 seats. Although specifics on the entry process have not been made available here, this likely means that entry into the programme is based on performance in some management entrance test (for instance, CAT or some state-level MBA entrance tests) followed by group discussion and personal interview rounds.
Applicants are required to submit all specified documents to finalise their PBR Visvodaya Engineering College admission.

Hey there!
For admission in VIT Vellore one has to appear for the entrance exam called VITEEE. For admission in VEC Andhra Pradesh, you need to appear for AP EAMCET. Same goes for PBR VITS in Nellore Andhra Pradesh, you need to appear for AP EAMCET for B.Tech admission.
Hi,
Around 13 lac applicants register for JEE main. Then on the basis of overall performance ,cutoffs are decided such that 2 lac students are declared as qualified for writing JEE-ADVANCED examination.
From 2017 year(Note).
1. There shall be no weightage for the 12th class marks in calculating the ranks in the JEE (Main) examination,
2. For the candidates to qualify for the admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Advanced)/JEE(Main) ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
In 2018, over 1,300,000 candidates appeared for the JEE exam for admission to 28,000 undergraduate engineering seats in 68 centrally-funded technical institutes that included all 19 IITs (10,000 seats), 31 NITs (15,500 seats) and 18 IIITs (2,500 seats).
Since 2 lac applicants qualify JEE mains and the No. of seats in NITs in total is around 15,500. You can expect a high competetion amongst them to get a desired seat which is solemnly done on rank basis which will be calculated on the basis of scores obtained in JEE main.
Thus,Qualifying MAIN examination doesn’t guarantee you a seat in NIT.
Best luck!!
