Established in 2006, the prestigious institution PD Hinduja College of Nursing in Mumbai provides nursing education programs. The institution offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in nursing to aspiring healthcare professionals.

Application Process

Application requirements for PD Hinduja College of Nursing, Mumbai are quite different based on the course:

B.Sc Nursing:

  3. For application form B.Sc Nursing programme
  4. Attach all necessary documents such as NEET score card, 10+2 mark sheet and relevant certificates.

M.Sc Nursing

  1. M.Sc Nursing application forms are available in the college website.
  2. Concerned specialty application form to be filled in.
  3. Submission of documents such as B.Sc nursing degree certificate along with mark sheets and other required certificates.
  4. Pay the application fee as prescribed by the college.

Selection Process:

The selection is primarily merit-based. For B. Sc. Nursing, selection is done based on the NEET (or equivalent) score; the minimum percentage in PCB subjects will be taken into consideration. Again, for M. Sc. Nursing, if the details are not maintained, selection may be through the candidate's academic performances from the B.Sc. Nursing program and/or entrance exam scores, if any.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc Nursing: It is a 4-year undergraduate course with an intake of 30 students. The admission is through the performance of the candidate in NEET or equivalent exams. The course is only for female candidates. The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as compulsory subjects, securing at least 45% marks in PCB for the open category and 40% for the reserved category in one attempt.

M.Sc Nursing: Four specializations under M.Sc Nursing are available. The total number of students admitted under this course is 25. The specializations are as follows:

  1. Medical Surgical Nursing (12)
  2. Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing (4)
  3. Community Health Nursing (5)
  4. Paediatric Nursing (4)

Documents Required:

  • NEET score card (for BSc. Nursing)
  • Mark sheets of 10th and 12th
  • B. Sc Nursing degree certificate and mark sheets if applying for M. Sc
  • Caste certificate, if applicable
  • Domicile certificate, if applicable
  • Other certificates as may be required during application process
