Cafeteria
The college has a cafeteria, It serves the food at non-profitable rates. Great emphasis is laid on hygiene, quality, and cleanliness of the food which is staffed by experienced and skilled cooks. Healthy snacks, meals, a variety of rice, tea, coffee, and cool drinks are available. The stationery items are also available. The cafeteria is available to students at recess and lunchtime on all working days. The students find it the most suitable place to relax and discuss topics of their interest during leisure time.
Library
The Campus Library is a treasure house of knowledge and information. It started its function with a vision to serve the information needs of its users and it mainly holds books related to arts, science, and allied subjects. The library serves as a rich workspace for students to do research and reference. The library is located on the second floor with an area of 2,500 square feet. The library has numerous collection of volumes of textbooks, reference books literature, management, national and international journals, backup volumes, and audio-video materials. PCAS Library is open and accessible for students and staff members on all working days between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM. The digital library section connected with the internet hub is provided for access to the users.
I.T Infrastructure
The College has Computer labs that are well-equipped and cater to the needs of academic programs. Lab access is available to students daily. The ratio of computers to the student is 1:1. Students can make their practical, presentations, seminar reports, and computer projects themselves in the lab. It provides state-of-the-art computing facilities to the students supported by high-speed LAN with the internet.
Sports
The college has an excellent sports infrastructure to engage all students who desire to excel in the sports arena. The college encourages students to participate in various sports activities in Intra and intercollegiate events. The college takes an interest in providing ample opportunities and facilities for sports activities. PCAS has the following sports facilities. 1. Cricket Ground, 2. Football Ground, 3. Volleyball Court, 4. Ball Badminton Court, 5. Handball Court, 6. Basket Ball Court, 7. Carrom, 8. Chess, 9. Kabbadi, 10. Kho-Kho.

A Corporation Bank ATM functions at the entrance of the college. It not only caters to the needs of the students and staff but also the general public who reside in the adjoining areas.
Transport Facility
The College has a full-fledged Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide transport facilities to students and staff. The transport facilities ensure that the students and staff are able to reach college on time. The college owns a fleet of 19 buses and operates buses for the convenience of students coming from various places in the city. This service is offered to ensure hassle-free and safe transportation. It operates buses over a 60 km radius. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.

The college has 24*7 medical facilities with vehicle service.

Yes, there is a significant difference. When compared to a diploma, obtaining an MBA degree provides the individual with a little more value.

The MBA qualifies the individual for a master's degree, whereas the PGDM qualifies the individual for a diploma. But that has nothing to do with students' industrial success or the difference in knowledge imparted in institutes!

And there isn't much of a difference in terms of getting a job. Securing a placement with a top company in the industry should be a piece of cake if the individual is a graduate of a reputable business school in India.

i m studying B.com ... i m decided to study m.com or mba or pgpm...which is best ???

Hi Karthick,

After B.com both MBA/PGPM or M.com are equally good, it depends on your interest that what you wish to do in future.

If you wish to go for corporate jobs in the areas of marketing, finance, HR, operations etc then you should go for MBA as companies prefer MBA over M.com.

However, if you wish to go in the areas of research, do a Ph.D. or go into lectureship then you can opt for M.com. It doesn't mean that someone with an M.Com can't land up in a corporate job, but they are less preferred over MBA's.

According to the placement records of Great Lakes Institute of Management, average CTC offered for the Class of 2018 is 11.14 lakhs p.a. and median is 10.50 lakhs p.a.
Highest CTC is 18 lakhs p.a. and Lowest CTC was 7.5 lakhs p.a.
