The College campus is not so big, when we take in consider how a College building should look like. But the facilities within the campus are quite up-to the mark. The computer Science Labs are well-furnished as well as air-conditioned. The lecture rooms, are however small in size and some of them are not properly ventilated. In-campus canteen, Stationary Shops, ATM & Barber shop are present.
The College's priority has always been the academic growth of a student. That's why more focus is laid on academics than any other activity. The College Management takes discipline very seriously. The teachers are very supportive and are quite unbiased when it comes to Exam marking pattern. The Academics also include NSPs to improve technical concepts of a student.
The Placements are average though. Unlike any other private college, Civil Students sometimes grab a decent package. The average is INR 3.5 LPA. Major Recruiters are TCS and Infosys. The college supports the student throughout the whole placement process. A variety of activities are conducted keeping in mind the placement preparations.
The cost per year, excluding hostel charges is nearly INR 90,000, which includes all the other additional charges. The Hostel fee is around INR 85,000. I think it is value for money because the college somehow makes an individual job-ready.
The College life depends on the company you have around you. Friends are your family here. The College has its Annual fest, which includes the sister-college PCE also. The students here are from diverse locations across the country. The College is located in the outskirts of the city. 24x7 Ambulance facility is available.
The college has a moderate campus, not much big and not that small too. You will have Classrooms, Labs, and equipment, not all fresh but not all rotten too. The campus is Wi-Fi equipped but you will not get any kind of free Wi-Fi in your device. It is available only in Labs. No Smart-Boards though. Living Space is good and the food is all the same. Mess food is not what you can expect good from any college.
Teaching quality is good. Teachers are good and supportive. Tutorials, Assignments, and many more things to go. The curriculum is given by RTU Kota and of course, the course is not up to the updated mark, Engineering in the 2020's is still having the same subjects mostly like that in the 1990s. But still, better than other colleges especially CSE Branch.
Placements are good, if you are eligible to sit in the company and you do crack the interview, you can have a job onboard. Avg. package is 3.5 Lac/Annum while the maximum goes up to 12Lac/Annum in campus placements.
In Rajasthan, All RTU affiliated colleges have same fees structure and sometimes it is worth it and sometimes not. You can't expect 100% from college. But still, management is always the management, and literally go anywhere they only care about the money and not giving values. You can expect the value part from the faculty's side.
Campus Life is Average. If you do as per the faculties and management then all good otherwise it feels like Engineering is suffocating. 75% Attendance criteria are there and of course College uniform, and I think Uniform is good but the attendance makes you forget about making memories and you must go to the class to be eligible to appear for internals.
It's Complicated. Somewhere it feels good and somewhere it feels like something is missing.
It provides you a well furnished class rooms and labs, it has all the facilities that is required for the students, there is huge library for the students, the hostel here are cleaned on daily basis and the hostel-mess provides you healthy and hygienic food and it also includes gym in hostels
I am studying computer science as it my personal interest and the quality of education that has been provided here is very good, they will give you assignment on weekly bases and they also prepare you for industrial training and job interview .
They provide a huge number of placement mostly in computer science department the percentage of students placed is 80% which is a good number, the highest salary package here is b/w 11-13 lac per annum
It's money worth as the fees structure here provided to you is very less and it gives me all the facilities that a student needs for the proper education .
It provides you a best campus life there are different activities which been students can engage just like sports, drama, IOT , Robo wars etc, the location here is safe as it is near to hospital also you can have the check ups also.
In overall it is good college where you can be a part of such quality education and experience in training and placement activities and be a job ready.
The infrastructural capabilities of the college is somewhat satisfying. We have a Sports Complex but only Basketball and Volleyball are a part of it. It has a Canteen and a separate sitting area for chilling and a separate area for Mess for Hostels.
If not very good, it is definitely serious in terms of study and academics (and not to forget ATTENDANCE too). The Academics are taken very seriously here, which can be both a pro and a con, depends on what you make of it. Some people compare it to tat of a school and cringe over it, other like this method of teaching as a Serious Take on Academics.
Although I have been the part of the college for just a little more than 1 year, but I have seen the placement drive and the "100% Placement" promise in its full swing. Definitely promising placements have been made, not only just from PIET, but also from PCE, PGI and PU. The Training and Placement Office is always on its toes to conduct mock placement drives, even for 1st Year Students to make them Future Ready.
