Prime College of Pharmacy, Palakkad Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Prime College of Pharmacy located in Palakkad, became a premier institution for pharmacy education and training in Kerala, India. The institute received affiliation approvals from PCI and offers various undergraduate, diploma, and postgraduate programs.  Admissions at Prime College of Pharmacy are merit-based and as per specific admission procedures laid down for each of the programs. Applicants for B.Pharma and D.Pharma should have passed with a fairly good background in science subjects at the higher secondary level for seeking admission. The M.Pharma admissions require a candidate with a B.Pharma degree. Admission is expected to take place on the basis of performances in other state-level/nationwide pharmacy entrance tests, plus academic scores at qualifying examinations, as further directed by the university or related governing bodies. 

Application Process

1. Candidates should visit the official college website to access the online application form; alternatively, they can collect a physical application form from the college admission office.

2. Fill out the application form giving personal and academic particulars accurately. Complete the ranks of all requirements.

3. Attach necessary documents, typically including:

• Passport size photographs
• Mark sheets of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th for UG courses; B.Pharm for PG courses)
• Entrance exam score card (if applicable)
• Category certificate (if applying under any reserved category)

Degree-Wise Admission Procedure.

B.Pharma-The college has a total of 100 seats for the flagship B.Pharm program. For this undergraduate course of four years, he must have passed 10+2 in the science streams of Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics. Selection is based on the score of the relevant entrance exam, plus academic record.

D.Pharma-The same 60 seats are available with the eligibility still pretty much there for a candidate to pass 10+2 with science. Admission might rely on the marks obtained at the qualifying examination and the score at any state-level entrance test.

M.Pharma-Crom Pharmaceutics (15 seats), Pharmaceutical Chemistry (9 seats), Pharmacy Practice (9 seats), and Pharmacology (9 seats). Candidates who wish to apply to Pharm.D. must have attained a B.Pharm. Degree that grants eligibility. Selection would require an eligible GPAT score, B.Pharm academic record, followed by an interview.

Pharm.D.-This 30-seat program is running for the duration of 6 years. Most of the candidates for this eligibility require a 10+2 pass in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. Admission will depend upon entrance exam scores and qualifying exam academic marks.
