Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Priyadarshini Polytechnic College, Vellore Offline Course

1. The candidate who passes X standard or equivalent examination with Mathematics and science subjects is eligible for admission into a polytechnic college.

2. There is no age restriction to join the Diploma courses Merit wise-communal reservations are being followed in the admissions.

3. The candidate has to obtain and submit the filled-up application on or before the prescribed due date.

4. Applications received after the due dates will be summarily rejected.

Lateral Entry

 1. Academic stream: The candidates should have studied maths, physics & chemistry at 10,+2

2. Vocational stream: The candidates should have studied either maths (or) physics (or) chemistry at one of the subjects of study along with the related vocational subject at 10,+2 level

3. Lateral entry into the second year (third –IIIsemester) of the three-year diploma courses, the candidates shall be required to have passed the higher secondary examination of 10 plus 2 pattern Their intake is restricted to 20% (10% for academic +10% for volitional) of the sanctioned intake of 1-year diploma courses.
