Queen's College of Food Technology and Research Foundation, Aurangabad Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Library is one of the central support services of the QCFT campus, where an adequate number of books, journals, and periodicals are available. The aim of the Library is to cater to the needs, basically, of the Students, Research Scholars, and faculty members of the Institute. The Library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources, in the form of CD-ROMs, Online databases, audio video cassettes, books, e-journals, patents, e-standards, theses, reports, monographs, etc. It also caters to the needs of the Research Scholars and Faculty members through INTERNET services to all relating to bibliographic and full-text digital and printed resources to support the scholarly and informational needs of the Institute Community

The College laboratories are equipped with the latest and all advanced instruments and equipment to meet the need of the type of research and practicals they harbor. All the laboratories are self-sufficient and some of the facilities developed in the last 2 years are encouraging. Our Laboratories possess all the required materials in sufficient quantity so that each student can perform his practicals individually.

The Computer Lab has computers with the latest configuration. In addition to catering to the needs of the students, the Lab also caters to the needs of the academic faculty and other staff of the College. The College has created an unlimited Internet facility in the Lab and College Campus which is available to the students 24 hours without any extra charges. This provides the students and the faculty, opportunities to access and download information of all kinds from various sources.

The College has an Internet connection of 256 kbps via Broadband, High-speed Internet connectivity (dedicated line), a Well-designed website of the college, and Internet facilities provided to every department of the College.

The college has well-furnished separate hostels for boys, Boys hostel is within 0.5 km from the college. Our hostels provide Good accommodations and facilities for extracurricular activities, Food Services in Hostels on a NO PROFIT NO LOSS basis, Round clock electricity, RO water supply, Hot water supply, Indoor, and outdoor games facilities, Common Room with Color TV, and Medical Facilities. The library, Computer Lab, and Internet facilities are also provided to the hostel residents beyond normal working hours and on holidays. PCO and Canteen are also available within the campus. The students are advised to avail themselves of the hostel facilities available on the campus, instead of commuting long distances by own/ hired vehicles. This will help to avoid the wastage of time, physical exertion, and mental agony of the parents. The newly admitted students are advised to fill out the hostel requisition form at the time of reporting, so that seat in a hostel is reserved for them. The Hostel has provision for single, double, and triple-seated rooms, both in boys' and girls' hostels. The students are allowed hostel facility after they apply for hostel rooms as per availability of the type of room/seat. The hostel charges include room rent, electricity, water, and mess charges. Other expenses on different utilities are required to be borne by the student. The hostel security deposit (refundable) is required to be deposited separately at the time of the first allotment of the hostel. It is obligatory for hoteliers to take meals in the hostel mess.
