Rajkiya Engineering College, Mirzapur Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Rajkiya Engineering College, Mirzapur is one of the newly developed Govt. Colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The institutes here offer engineering programs in the undergrad level and have shown a competitive environment in the choice of students under this process due to the number of entrance exam systems. Through the national-level entrance exams is primarily used here in order to choose an eligible candidate. The college takes two major entrance examinations, namely the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG. These are entrance exams conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and are mainly followed for admission in the B.Tech programs provided at REC Mirzapur.

The date for the session of JEE Main are yet to be declared. However, the city intimation slip is likely to be issued on January 2, 2025. CUET UG is scheduled to be conducted between May 15 and May 24, 2025. Candidates must adhere to these dates and prepare for it. Minimum Qualification Required to get admitted in REC Mirzapur is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification, in which all three subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsorily there. Moreover, applicants have also to clear the minimum percentage criteria in the institute-level and also score an award-winning score in the entrance examinations.

Admission Process

1. Qualify the JEE Main or CUET UG examination by NTA.

2. Registration under counseling procedure. Counseling procedure is carried out by the state authorities for government engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

3. Filling of the application form of REC Mirzapur during counseling process mentioning college choice and desire B.Tech course.

4. All your required documents, and these include:

• JEE Main or CUET UG score card
• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
• Category certificate if required
• Domicile certificate, if required
• Any other document mentioned by the counseling authority

5. As finalized during the counseling process, an application fee

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Tech: The four major streams under B.Tech are Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Information Technology. For all of these B.Tech courses, 60 students are admitted to the institute through each stream. Admission is strictly based on the scores of the entrance examination. Scores of JEE Main as well as CUET UG are a part of the admission process.
