Roorkee College of Polytechnic, being one of the renowned technical institutes, has been established in 2009. This Haridwar-based college is situated in Uttarakhand. The sprawling campus covers 25 acres of land. Approval by the All India Council of Technical Education has enabled this institution to provide quality education in the various branches of engineering fields. There are 7 diploma courses offered by the college in various specialisations with a varied strength of students under its roll of 224 enrolments. RCP boasts of a very impressive student-to-faculty ratio with faculty strength at 32 dedicated professionals to create an atmosphere conducive to learning.

Roorkee College of Polytechnic offers diversified facilities to help students in all respects of their academic and personal development. The campus has well-equipped laboratories, where students learn by working practically in different streams of engineering. Further, there is also an up-to-date library which is a knowledge centre with a fully-stocked collection of books, periodicals, and digital resources on the entire campus. It also has good hostel facilities separately for boys and girls with well-furnished, air-cooled rooms with good meal facilities. This college also takes care of the students' health by offering an on-campus medical clinic with the services of professional physicians along with ambulance service in case of any kind of emergency.

RCP offers 7 full-time diploma courses, each of 3 years duration. They include, notably, undergraduate courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The sanctioned student intake in this college is 224 students spread over a number of these courses. Thus, there are enough seats to accommodate deserving students who wish to enroll for professional programmes in engineering and allied disciplines of learning.
