Fairly modest and small beginnings is what the Royal College of Pharmacy and Paramedical Sciences, Coimbatore, considers to be one of those few famous healthcare institutions in Tamil Nadu for pharmacy and allied health programs of a rather extensive variety. Application Process
1. Admission Notification: The college publicly announces the commencement of the admission process through its website and house organs of communication.
2. Application Form: Interested candidates are then called to obtain the application form and fill it in. The application form will probably either be available online on the college's website or offline at the college campus.
3. Document Submission: These would include, along with the application form, sets of other documents.
4. Application Fee: Candidates may have to pay a nonrefundable application fee, the method of remittance and amount to be stated in the application instructions.
5. Entrance Exam: Depending upon the course and as per the directions of the statutory bodies, candidates may have to sit for an entrance exam.
6. Merit List: A merit list will probably be prepared based on a combination of the academic performance of the candidates and/or their score in the entrance examination.
7. Counseling and Seat Allotment: Candidates named in the merit list will be called for counseling and seat allotment based on merit and availability.
8. Admission Confirmation: The candidates admitted shall also confirm their admission by paying the required fee and submitting the original document in a prescribed time frame.
Admission Process Degree wise
Diploma in Pharmacy: The Diploma in Pharmacy program at Royal College of Pharmacy and Paramedical Sciences is approved for 60 seat intake. The selection of candidates is made according to the orders issued by the authorized University and the Director of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. The course commenced in 2014-15 and is intended to develop high-caliber pharmacy professionals.
Under the guidelines as laid down by the recognized University and the Director of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai for admission into the B.Sc Medical Lab Technology program, this course selection is made to filter the right candidates for this bachelor's degree program in medical laboratory technology.
Diploma in Medical Lab Technology: This diploma program is again run under these directions of the authorized University and the Director of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. This course educates students at the diploma level with specialized training in medical laboratory technology.
Selection of candidates for admission into the Diploma in Physiotherapy program shall strictly follow the guidelines put forth by the authorized University and the Director of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. The course provides theoretical and practical training in physiotherapeutic methods.
Diploma in Medical Radiography: The process for selection into the Diploma in Medical Radiography level would follow the same line as that for all other courses and according to the directives of the authorized University and the Director of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. This course prepares students in the area of medical imaging and radiography.

For D.Pharm Course – It is the diploma in pharmacy. The minimum qualification of 10+2 is required. It must be passed with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology subjects. For admission to this course, candidates must have completed 17 years of the year of admission.
For B.Pharm Course – It is the bachelor’s degree in pharmacy that can be taken after passing 12th/intermediate examination. For this course, candidates must pass 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as a compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics / Computer Science / Biotechnology / Biology subjects and must obtained 50% marks in qualifying examination. Minimum 17 years of age and maximum 23 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
