Sagar Institute of Science, Technology and Research, Bhopal Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has two boys' hostels on the campus premises. Each hostel in the boys' hostel is spacious and accommodates three students and they have been provided with a bed, tables and chairs, cupboards, shoe racks and bookshelves. Wi-Fi is also being provided so that students can access the internet.

The college has a girls’ hostel. Each room has a bed, tables and chairs, cabinets, shoe racks, and bookshelves. Daily newspapers are available at the hostel, allowing students to stay up to date on current happenings. Under the supervision of the Principal and Administrative Officer, the hostel mess is managed by the management through a private contractor. In the hostel, vegetarian food is served. Every day there is a substantial and balanced breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The college  has a well-equipped medical center. Male and female students have separate inpatient facilities. The health center provides quality health care in a comfortable and confidential environment. The center has 2 beds and adequately supplied medicine cabinet. The health center is manned by a medical officer and a healthcare assistant to provide excellent medical care to all the students, staff and faculty at no cost. Also, vaccinations and yearly checks ups are done at this facility. In the future we look forward in expanding and bringing in high-tech medical equipment's to serve better the students of our college. 

The college has a well-equipped gymnasium equipped with modern gym equipment for workouts. The gym also provides a trainer to guide the students.

The college  has a library is equipped with a vast collection of books and journals in the field of science and engineering-related areas. The library has a huge collection of documents for competition materials, fiction, stories, general books, encyclopedias and dictionaries, magazines, CD-DVDs, projects (minor and major) etc. The library subscribes to national and international journals. It offers services such as a lending facility; claims/reservations; renewals; a reading room; library activities etc. The institute has a  digital library that has a number of computers for browsing, accessing e-journals, and e-books and searching the library database using OPAC. The facilities available in the library include a separate reading section; a reference section, open access system for online full-text journals bibliographic database e-resources, subscription through DELNET.

The college has various indoor and outdoor sports facilities for students on campus. The college  has sports facilities for games like football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, chess, handball, hockey, lawn tennis, weight lifting etc. 

The college has a well-maintained IT infrastructure. It controls and manages the networking of the entire campus.

The college is equipped with a fully functional canteen to serve hygienically prepared food to the staff and students. Canteen fulfills the immediate need for Breakfast and Light Lunch for students as well as faculty members.

The college  has a huge auditorium. The college auditorium is used for conducting various events and seminars.

The college has a  full fledged Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide transport facility to students and staff from various places of Bhopal. This service is offered ensuring a hassle-free and safe transportation. The College runs a fleet of buses for providing transport facility to students from various places in the city. 

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The Wi-Fi facility is also being provided so that students can access the internet.

The college  has departmental laboratories. The college laboratories are equipped with modern instruments and apparatus to help the students in practical's.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
