Sanketika Institute of Technology and Management (SITAM), Visakhapatnam, is a well-known institution providing different undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering. Admission at SITAM is carried out in a fair and transparent manner so that deserving candidates can follow their desired courses. SITAM accepts admissions on the basis of performance in state-level entrance tests, mainly AP EAMCET for undergraduate courses and AP PGECET for postgraduate courses.

Application Process

For B.Tech programs:

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: SITAM provides five B.Tech programs: Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. All of these have an approved intake of 60 students. Admissions are done on the basis of AP EAMCET ranks, and later on, the counseling is done by the state government.

M.Tech: Four specializations in M.Tech are offered by the institute: VLSI and Embedded Systems, Transportation Engineering, Control Systems, and Thermal Engineering. Intake of all four M.Tech programs is approved at 30. Admissions are largely on the basis of AP PGECET scores, followed by counseling. Students with valid GATE scores can also be given admission subject to state norms
