College Infrastructure
SCE has most of the required infra and transportation facilities. It is located just opposite to the New Trichy bus stand. It has well equipped labortories and library. I personally don't like the hostel.
Academics
The quality of teaching was good. When i did mechanical engineering, it was following Anna University curriculum. But the labs and practical sessions are good. They are very strict also. You have to write make up exams if you aren't scoring good in internal exams to get internal marks.
Placements
Placement is decent though. 50% of students are placed in my batch which is not quite good. The placements are mostly in IT sector. The average placement was decent. The good part is after completing the degree also, they are helping in placements.
Value for Money
It costed 40,000 per year for general students. Additionally we have to pay exam fees. The fees is very reasonable.I don't like the make up fees part, we have to pay 50 for every exam where we score less thn the cut-off score in internals.

Very good.

I felt tough at the beginning and now I started liking it.

Yes we do have all the facility like labs , in various domains with good facility. We also good environment in the class rooms and also in laboratory .We have a lan connecting various labs inside our campus.
Academics
I'm doing my ug in ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING. This is the best department in our college and the staff's in this department are very much passionate towards their subject. Yes I do , it helps to improve my standard in what I am .
Placements
Almost every year the companies which arrives gives us a good package and many get into their deserved jobs ,almost 50% get through it. The highest package 6 lakh per annum . The avg was around 3 lakh per annum.
Value for Money
I enter through management quota and im paying almost 1 lakh. Yes, i do because I think it's cost is very much reasonable comparing to other college's. All the facility in labs and all other's things are very much reasonable.
Campus Life
Student's can involve in various soprts activities inside the campus and it will be very much use full for them. If you are very high riched you may don't love the atmosphere of the campus including hostel but bathrooms are well maintained best and hygiene .
Others
Overall this institute wants you to study a lot and to be placed and you cannot find many entertainment inside the campus like inter college fest like that, foods inside the canteen really taste the best .

See if you want to go for a colleges which can offer you more opportunities then I would recommend you to go for VIT.The two university you have mentioned, surely VIT is more preferable. VIT have a very well organized curriculum such that the curriculum provides adequate skills to work in industry as well as to pursue academia. Also the faculties are very well experienced and are active in research. VIT offers a very good rate of placement about 91%. VIT have very good infrastructure which is really good fact for science students.
** I would highly recommend you to conduct a research by yourself. If you find my facts relevant then only go for it , else take the decision which will be the best for you.
As per the latest placement statistics, VIT BHOPAL has a very good package with median salary to be Rs. 6.5LPA to Rs. 44LPA.
