Satyawati college has old building and new building. There is wide and airy classroom in the new building. There is liberary in the college which help students to learn study in very quit environment.
Some students are good and they have helping nature towards these students were some teachers who are serious are strict. Teachers give readings and notes for better understanding of the topic and concepts .
When I say about the placement in the college I would say that there is no placement in this course and college do not provide any facility or skill enhancement course to get good placement inthe college.
Satyawati college come under University of Delhi and it is government college so the fees of B.A couse is not very high also it is affordable for the poor student . Examination fees which students have to pay at the end of the semester is also not very high.
Nowadays Satyawati college provided so many facilities to the students so that they can enhance their curriculum activities by participating in different department and cultural activities. It organises competitions and fest at the end of the semester.
The college infrastructure is pretty good, It has got two libraries with over 1,00,000 books, 25 Labs for science , commerce and science students. It has 2 auditoriums with size of 200 and 500 respectively, It has also got playgrounds for all types of outdoor games.
The college established in 1973 and offers undergraduate courses for social science, commerce and humanities. It has got a student ratio of 15:1. The faculties are very good and they updated about the current affairs.
The college works closely with the students to help them secure good placements. They organize seminars, workshops and mock interviews. The highest package of college was 14 LPA and around 80% of the college got placement, Average Package is somewhere around 4 LPA.
The fee that I paid for 3 three years was 18,000 . Pros :- It gives you good placements, The average package is around 4-5 LPA. The infrastructure is pretty good. The faculty is active. Cons:- No Hostel Facilities, the location of the college in a congested area.
The campus life is amazing. Active student life with many clubs and societies. Good Placement records, Located in North Campus. Good Infrastructure and facilities. The Playing ground is very big. I enjoyed my undergradaute.
Overall its a good college, if you are looking for college with good infrastructure , friendly faculty , active student. Satyawati is a very good option.
It was great studying here, value for money. Not that far from my home. All type of crowd can be seen. This is in askok vihar Delhi you can find PG in near area. Local travel area wise it's good . Nice
Teaching staff is good, classrooms are huge. Non teaching staff is also fine. I did bcom honours from here. In batch 2015-2018 three years course . During my time migration facility was there and you just have to apply for it
No placements are available to be honest. May be very few companies visit for placement. I didn't applied for it because I had plans for MBA so didn't bother much. I remember few companies came with 3-4 lpa package
The college infrastructure is okay. I am into sports and sports department is good they encourage students. Ground is very big. Classrooms are neat but the desks are not of good quality. There is wifi facilities available also you will get parking in the college. There is also a bank and ATM in the college building.
The study is good and teachers are very supportive and helpful. They are very friendly and learning is made easy with presentations. The curriculum is updated. There are various educational activities and societies where you can take part. But I think there should be more improvement in academics.
Most of my friends got placed with average package of 10-12 LPA. The quality of placements is average, students get internships and placement if they score good in academics. The placement cell should be improved and easy and simple process should be introduced.
You will get value for your money. The fees is very affordable for everyone as per comparison to universities with expensive fees. My fees was around 7k for a year. The education quality is good you can take admission here.
I am in the evening shift and there is a morning shift as well. Fest are also organised every year. College campus is big. There are more then 50 societies you can take part into. Also the location is near to metro station.
Infrastructure of the college is well maintained. Library is quite peaceful and full of various books of renowned authors. College playground is really good. The canteen of college provide many popular dishes. There's a well maintained auditorium in college, where many programs are organised.
Professors are really good and have a very good connection with students. Studying in the college really help students to get good jobs. Teachers have a unique way to explain the topics and various internship are also provided by teachers.
Highest placement is 20 lacs and average placement is 5 lacs. Maximum placement from bcom courses. Few companies visit like Byjus , Paytm etc. Average placement percentage is 60% . In maths honours placement is not very good.
My course cost 7800 per year. We can say there's value of money.
Students are really well behaved. Actually I enjoyed going to college. Teachers always coordinate with students.
I used to go to college daily. I really enjoyed going to this college.
Since it's a DU college, the infrastructure is good, though not so comparable to other DU colleges. We have a big sports ground where various sports activities take place. The canteen is average I should say and the library is also big with a vast number of books. Classrooms are not that good and some rooms need repair.
Since I am a B.Com Hons. student, i know much about this course. The faculty is supportive and the quality of teaching is also good. Our course curriculum is well updated and students are able to complete their course due to proper and constant guidance.
The placement here is average. Though some students are able to grab whopping packages with their hard work. So getting placement here is not as tough. The Training and Placement cell keeps and updates all placement records.
The fees are not at all high and completely worthy since it's a DU college. A student can easily complete his course without seeking any financial assistance. It's a thumbs up in value for money.
Just like other DU colleges, the campus life of Satyawati is very peaceful. In the evening, it gives a different feel while roaming around the campus along with friends. we enjoy a lot in campus playing, and doing other stuff.
Satyawati is one of the good colleges of DU with good academic support and faculties.
Overall The Infrastructure is Average. The library and the canteen are pretty good, with quite many options for books nd snacks respectively. The ground is Big enough for field sports. But the classrooms could have been better. They are quite deteriorated, with plaster coming off the walls. Some benches too are broken. The Auditorium is pretty big, with Enough space to seat ample number of people at a time, One of the best points of this college.
The Teachers, Professors are friendly and Approachable. They have knowledge of what they are supposed to be teaching, and are quite happy to help students with their doubts. Academically, this college is not as bad as is the General reputation. It's quite good.
Absolutely no idea about this matter. Yet to enter Final Year, and Haven't been in contact with Any senior as such, so can't say about the placements and Average Packages. However, there is a dedicated Placement Cell providing opportunities for Articleship to students, all through the year.
The Fees isn't as high as other Well Reputed colleges under DU. This gives an opportunity for people in the lower income groups to get quality education without burning a hole in their pockets. The Fees was a little under 9000 for 1st year, and lower still for 2nd year. So I'd say it's Value for Money.
The Campus life is quite eventful. Satyawati College being one of the most Politically Motivated Colleges, the phase during Elections in DU is quite a charm. The highlight during that time being the gatherings of students walking through the halls Dancing, Singing and just cheerfully laughing.
Yes our college has all the necessary infrastructure and all facilities. All the classrooms are just amazing and the library is the best and the teachers are the real assets. The hygienic is all good and the campus is clean and amazing.
I'm studying ba eco hons in satyawati college evening and the quality of teaching is just best. All the teachers are soo amazing. The teachers are really friendly and amazing and soo helpful to all the new students.
I'm still in first year so I don't have much idea about the placement. Although the alumni of this college says they have very good placements and also it depends on the students more. Students are very well prepared over here.
The fee is very minimal and it's absolutely value for money. In this minimum fee the college is offering an amazing course which is the plus point. All the du colleges have very minimal fee soo it's no surprise.
Due to this lockdown no idea about the campus life. Hope I will enjoy my campus life after this lockdown gets over and life permits to enjoy. Also campus life seems to be amazing as per the alumni and other older students of the college.
I would recommend you this college as the teachers are the real assets and rest is upto to you.
Satyawati college has normal infrastructure. Classrooms are big in size with sufficient windows to let the air come in. we have a library too which is well maintained. Our college has lesser number of sports activities and events, however students mostly opt for cricket and gymnasium. Labs are well lit and spacious. Proper sanitation is maintained in the canteen.
I had enrolled into Political Science Hons.because of my interest in our constitution. Academic wise the college is average, as the curriculum requires updation. Teaching staff is knowledgeable. But since there is no protocol followed in college relating to maintaining attendance record, it doesn't seem like the faculty cares much.
Placement in my department has not set a good record. Students need to go to the north campus in search of good quality placements. Courses like B.Com and Economics Hons.attract high number of companies and salary package.
The fee structure in Satyawati for my course is INR 8000 per annum which is quite affordable and reasonable. The college is not so popular amongst students-seeking-admission.
College life has been worth living here. I personally have been a member of NCC where I took part in many events and learnt new things. Not much of an interaction takes place between the students and teachers, but the staff is highly supportive.
College infrastructure is good! Walls are getting painted. Efforts are visible. Canteen is nice though the food is a bit oily but it's fine, can be taken in terms of extreme hunger. In short college infrastructure is good but not awesome! Ground is very big !
Teachers are helpful, understanding and cooperating !! Teachers accept assignments after the submission date easily if the reason is relevant. Cool environment very friendly teachers. Explains every topic with detail.
I don't find any opportunities for BA program students! More emphasis are on Eco hns and bcom hns students only! Not satisfied with that stuff! Placement cell needs to improve and should start to pay attention on all the courses
It's value for money in the terms of education! But as far as the placement is concerned I don't find any opportunities. Canteen is good! A very large ground to play games with friends! Very large auditorium
Campus life is good! Events are very entertaining ! Crowd is bit of a issue but once you find people of your kind then it can be ignored easily! Hard to find people from Delhi though! Campus life is nice
Overall the college is good in the terms of studies and enjoyment in the terms of societies and events. Attendance is not much of an issue so students can enjoy their college life without any stress.
