Infrastructure of school of open learning are well equipped and maintened, library, canteen and wifi facilities are provided by the college, all the college's campuses of Delhi university oils neat and clean.
I am pursuing BA from school of open learning,I am a third year student, till now everything is going smoothly, yes everything is updated, weekly classes are conducted, although it is not compulsory interested students can attend the classes.
School of open learning do not provide placement facility,it is the only negative point which I have seen in this college,it is good for those student who want degree along with there job or with any other courses.
Since the college fees is very less.so yes it is value for money.
All the college's of school of open learning have good infrastructure, all the necessary facilities are provided by the management and also every College of Delhi University are located at good places of Delhi.
I am pursuing bcom from school of open learning, yes all the syllabus and study material are up to date.since it is distance mode learning so students have to go to college only for giving examination.
You will not get placement opportunity from school of open learning .I don't think any student from school of open learning have got any placement,it is only suitable for getting a verified course degree.
Very well infracture was maintain in college every facilities is provided big classroom with projectors and library with all latest books and sports games are also provided wifi is also available and clean and hygienic park andclassroom
I have done my b.com side wise i am preparing for banking the quality of teaching is good this help in my graduation also and will also help in future jobs too school of open learning helps me achieving my career and yes my all circullamis updated
Placement is not for school of open learning .it was not easy to get placed yes it was supportive for student teacher is also good but placement is good for regular student who achieve higher marks in the college
Fees is very cheap every student can easily affordable.
My campus is located in north campus delhi university all were supportive and friendlythe price of food served by them value the money
No
There is a 24x7 Wi-Fi facility all over the campus and hostels. The library is also very good, and it consists of all the required books for the course. Hostels are also very good, and they provide students with all the required facilities.
I m complete my b.com in 2020 from this school of open learning delhi University. Teaching quality was very good . I have a great experience with my all teachers they help me alots in my study as well as career. Yes curriculum is update , no currently I m doing my postgraduate
There was no placement they provide only degree. There was no percentage of students were placed because college only provides degrees there was no placement or internship. No idea about the salary package.
The building was constructed years ago and does not attract the youngsters. It is not that clean and hygienic. The class rooms are spacious but needs to be well maintained. Over all the building is spacious.
It is a good opportunity for the ones who had to drop their studies because of any financial issues or responsibilities or if you are interested to continue your graduation simultaneously with your professional courses.
I have hardly heard of anyone who got placed from the open school. Although they have a placement cell but that never seems to be active and there is no such placement drive inside the school for the interested students. Just vacancies are uploaded online.
My college has all the necessary requirements that an ideal college must possess. It has library , labs , sports complex , auditorium , cafeteria , hostel facilities are also available and many more .
I have studied B.Com. I am highly satisfied with the campus , faculty members and the hostel. Teachers of electrical department are highly skilled and qualified. They are hardworking and intelligent. It is a very good college to its core.
The placements are not offered in our course , but there were many opportunities for scholarships and internships . Teachers guided us timely to avail such opportunities. Teachers are also well experienced.
My overall experience was good
There's no infrastructure as such as it's a distance learning college. There's just a main office and the exams are held in other colleges which have great infrastructure and everything that is required for smooth exams
There used to be classes on weekends for each subject and teachers were experienced. It was a decent studying experience for all the students. As the classes used to be on weekends only teachers used to rush the syllabus
The fees was less as it was a distance learning college so the infrastructure and the class thing makes sense. Over all helped me graduate with decent marks, so can't really complain about that.......
I was in School of Open Learning North Campus. Infrastructure of North Campus Colleges are all same. They provide good hygienic food in Canteens and also have library, so that Students can avail the facilities.
I studied B.Com (Hons.) from Delhi University. Faculties are soo Supportive and they have excellent command on their subjects. They also update us time to time about the changes has been made by the Education Department.
I was in SOL North Campus. In my college Placements are not there but if I talk about other North Campus Colleges like Hansraj College, Ramjas College have great Campus Placement by the companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY and many more.
I have chosen the north campus and some of the collages are very good, the infrastructure is well maintained and the facilities provided by them are much better, but also some of the colllages are not good as per the expectations, like they don't have good seating facilities and the water supply is not available on time so it makes many difficulties
I studied b.com(hons) from the University of delhi(SOL).the classes are only available before the examination, but the teachers are good and experienced, the way of teaching was very good and appreciable, study material also provided by the collage on time,so it is quite helpful, books are not upto the mark but Little good for revision purpose only.
Placements are good only for the students who achieved good or higher marks,so for the placements from the collage you have to be in the top,and for the lower grade students the placements are not good or we can say there is nothing.
As i have completed my studies in SOL the fee is good according to the academics, for one year it is approximately 2500 only..we have to pay before the examination...so in this amount of money the collage also provides study material at you doorstep
Campus life is good..little bit of fun and the food of the cantees in hygienic and tasty...the price of the food served by them is value for money, they provide sport's facilities as well..so the campus life is good depending on your lifestyle
School of open learning has a very good infrastructure in terms of library, books, classrooms, etc. It has a canteen with good food and taste. The food is very tasty there. It also has a sports centre which allows children to play sports.
I am a student of bcom hons due to me pursuing my CA after 12th class. The teachers do not take regular classes and curriculum is very different from those of regular college students. This study does not makes us job ready.
There are no placement opportunities for all the students. It is very necessary for all the students to pursue something after the graduation. Also the placement process was not easy and was only provided to a group of students.
The college did have very less fees and it did give us our graduation degree. We needed only our degree and this college provided us that. The fees is approximately ranging between three thousand to four thousand rupees per year.
Hello,
Recently, UGC has approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degree programmes at the same time. One of the degrees has to be in the regular mode and the other either in open and distance learning or online. However, in case you're asking if you can get in both the Universities in regular mode then it is not possible.
Also, there are a lot of universities who are not yet accepting the dual degree policy. They may accept it from a year or so as it was released this year. So you should get in contact with the college to know more about it.
I hope this helps,
All the best
yes , you get admission in B com in any university or college
