Hey,

Generally the percentile required for CW-5 is below than what required for OBC category. OBC candidates requires 95+ percentile in CAT to make through FMS while CW-5 can expect a call at 70+ percentile as well.

Also, the composite score is obviously way lower for cw when compared to obc after extempore and further interview rounds.

Hope this helps.

Hey

See it depends upon the courses you are applying for. Delhi University offers admission across various courses through both merit based mode and the entrance based mode.

For the entrance based mode (DUET), for specific courses like BMS and BJMC, the rank secured in the DUET will determine your eligibility for getting admission in colleges of Delhi University.

While for many undergraduate courses, the admission lists are released (merit based).

Thanks

Hello,

It would had been better if you had mentioned your category, since the cutoffs differ for all the categories. Now the first merit list of DU JAT has been released till date along with the college preferences. Based upon the percentile you have scored it will be quite tough for admission to BMS since the cutoffs for DU JAT for general category students are normally higher(considering the fact that you are form general category).

Would suggest you to wait for the next round of merit lists and also for the cutoffs to be released.

Thank you.

Hi there,

Congratulation on getting 99.07% in DU JAT and 95.25% in boards.

Getting into Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies depends completely upon your rank for that you can see the cut-off by clicking here . Cut-off of the previous year for General rank was from 1-155 so for this year if you fall under this rank then you have good chances of getting SSCBS but if your rank is more than that, then it might be difficult to get into SSCBS.

Hi Aspirant,

Congratulations for getting such a good percentile in DUJAT. Your 12th percentage is also so good, so I can expect your rank to be under 200. The previous year cutoffs for SSCBS are as follows:

1-155

Where 1 is the opening rank and 155 is the maximum closing rank till last round of counselling. So, if your rank is under 150 , then you have good chances for SSCBS, but if your rank is more than that, then you can be on a close call. To know the previous year DUJAT cutoffs, follow the given link-
