Shiv Shankar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patti Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Shiv Shankar Institute of Engineering and Technology (SSIET), Patti, is an affiliated college recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute offers various engineering programs and follows a centralized admission process through its affiliating university, Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.

The SSIET admission process generally opens in April-May for the August-September start of the academic session. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: SSIET offers four B.Tech courses: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Admission into the courses is based on JEE Main marks. The institute carries out an aggregate intake of 150 seats for the B.Tech programs, divided as below:

• Computer Science and Engineering: 60 seats
• Electronics & Communication Engineering: 30 seats
• Mechanical Engineering: 30 seats
• Civil Engineering: 30 seats

Eligibility is on the basis of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. The candidates will have to qualify in JEE Main to be considered for admission.

M.Tech: SSIET offers an M.Tech program in Electronics and Communication Engineering with a total of 18 seats. Admission information of M.Tech is not clear, but most likely it is entrance-based on some relevant exam such as GATE followed by a probable interview round.
