Education aims to impart knowledge and makes good citizens. Academic Institutions established in rural places fact that 70 percent of the Indian population lives in rural areas. There are many factors involved in restructuring rural communities. One of them is to establish the Academic Institutions and Academic college libraries in rural areas to provide the right information to the right user at the right time. Libraries are the repositories of knowledge and form an integral part of education. Academic libraries in the rural background areas are considered to be the nerve centers of academic institutions and are supporting teaching, research, and other academic programs. With the advent of computers, the nature of libraries has changed dramatically. Computers are being used in libraries to process, store, retrieve, and disseminate information. As a result, the traditional concept of the library is being redefined from a place to access books to one which houses the most advanced media including CD-ROM, Internet, and remote access to a wide range of resources. Libraries have now morphed into digital institutions. Gone are the days when a library was judged by its quantitative resources. Today, libraries are surrounded by networked data that is connected to a vast ocean of Internet-based services. Moreover, electronic resources relevant to the professions are developing at an unprecedented pace.

The college has sports facilities for all students. Sports: Indoor and Outdoor Volleyball Ground, Kabaddi Ground, Carom, Chess, Javelin Throw.

The computer lab has 20 computers and is enriched with a net facility. The EDUSAT room is equipped with audiovisual aids and enables ICT based teaching-learning process.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. A subsidized canteen facility is provided near to the college.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The institution does not have a registered alumni association but it maintains cordial relations with alumni by conducting two meetings every year. The Alumni meeting is convened twice a year and evolves policies regarding the working of the association and encouraged to make a valuable contribution to the development of the academic environment. Distinguished Alumni from our colleagues who have excelled in various walks of life are invited and felicitated to inspire the young students.
