Shroff S.R. Rotary Institute of Chemical Technology (SRICT), Bharuch, is one of the top institutions in Gujarat providing a variety of engineering and science courses. Admission at SRICT is made with the aim to choose deserving candidates for its various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The institute uses scores of the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) for admission into its engineering courses, along with Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) scores for certain courses.
Admission usually starts during January-February months when GUJCET and JEE Main applications are begun. GUJCET is most commonly held during the month of March, but there are more sessions of JEE Main across a year. Scores for the respective exams come out in the April-May month after which comes counseling and admissions.
For undergraduate engineering courses, the candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. The general eligibility criteria for all courses are a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying exam. Specific eligibility criteria may differ for various courses and can be verified on the SRICT official website.

5. Attend any other tests or interviews as needed by the institute.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech/BE: SRICT provides six full-time BE courses such as Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science and Technology, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Technology, and Computer Engineering. Admissions to most of these courses are through GUJCET scores, and for certain courses, JEE Main scores are also taken into account. Intake is different for different streams, with Computer Engineering having 30 seats. The total course fee for the majority of BE courses is roughly Rs 4,00,000 for the whole duration.
B.Sc: The college has B.Sc courses in Microbiology and Chemistry. The B.Sc Chemistry course has 60 seats with the total course fee of Rs 1,05,000. Admission to B.Sc courses can vary compared to engineering courses and is probably on the basis of marks in 12th standard or a different entrance exam.
M.Sc: SRICT offers M.Sc courses in Chemistry with two options - regular and evening. Both have a total intake of 60 in regular and 40 in the evening. Both of them charge an overall fee of Rs 1,30,000. The admission process for M.Sc courses could be based on consideration of the candidate's undergraduate scores along with possibly a separate entrance exam or interview.
