Siddhartha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SIPS), located in Narasaraopet, is one of the premier institutions giving pharmaceutical education in India. Admissions at SIPS are very selective so that people with the best potential can be admitted into various programs. The Pharmacy Council of India gives the recognition to SIPS which further ensures that the quality of education imparted matches that of the industry requirements.
SIPS grants admission essentially on merit determined by entrance examinations conducted on a state or national level. For all undergraduate programs, admissions take place on the basis of having appeared for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). For postgraduate programs, admissions are normally granted based on either the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) or the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).
For entrance into undergraduate programs, it is necessary to have completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. For postgraduate courses, he/she should have a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
