Smt. Velagapudi Durgamba Siddhartha Law College started in 1987, is one of the premier legal institutions in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Hope you are doing great. yes, there are restrictions with regard to curfew timings. On weekdays, the hostel gates shall be locked by 8.30 PM, and on Saturdays, by 9.00 PM. Only at 5.30 AM will the gates be opened.
Students must obtain permission from the Warden or Chief Warden at least one day in advance if they plan to travel to a location such as a railway station or an airport to catch a late-night train or flight. The students must leave the dorm by 5 p.m. to make it to the train station or airport in time to wait in the lounges for trains or flights to depart before it becomes dark. Driving on isolated highways at night is dangerous.
Residents who arrive at their hostels after hours will be fined. Such residents' HOIs and parents will be notified. Repeat offenders will have to appear before the disciplinary committee and, in the worst situations, may even be asked to leave the hostel.
