Sophia College for Women, Mumbai, has the facility of hostel, canteen, sports, gym and computer centre.
Hostel: Hostel facility is equipped with all the modern facilities. It is well-lighted and well-ventilated. Amenities such as canteen, mess, Wifi, purified water, CCTV security and laundry services are provided in the hostel.
Canteen: It provides a wide variety of delicacies to cater to the tastes of each individual. The college Mess is spacious with a dining hall and kitchen.
Gymkhana: The well-equipped gym facilities are provided in the college. The college has female instructors cum gym trainers who look after the necessities and requirements of the gym.
Computer Center: Computing facilities are provided with the latest configuration and an Internet connection for the use of students and staff of the college.
Library: The library has a vast and eclectic collection of books, journals, databases, audio-visual aids, CDs, DVDs, e-books, project reports, course material, classics and bound volumes. A digital library fulfils the electronic material needs of the students. It has an institutional membership of DELNET.
- Girls Hostel
Sophia College offers efficient, well-managed and clean hostel accommodation to about a hundred and five out-of-town students.
- Medical/Hospital
The college has a health center with first aid facility for the students.
- Gym
The Gymnasium has the latest equipment and the services of instructors and a nutritionist are included in the nominal fee. Aerobics, Yoga and Martial Arts (Karate and Judo) classes are also conducted.
- Library
The hub of academic life is the library, which houses a large collection of books (fiction and non-fiction), journals (both national and international), biographies, encyclopedias, dictionaries, art books and maps. Audio-visual materials, such as CD-ROMs, DVDs, slides, and filmstrips, are also available.
- Sports
The college has the sports facilities for all students.
- I.T Infrastructure
Located on the 1st Floor, Arts Building, the Computer Centre is well equipped with 93 computers, 4 printers, 2 scanners and DVD writers in all the computers.
- Cafeteria
The canteen is conveniently located next to the herbal garden with easy access from all the buildings of the campus. It has a large seating area and is run by professional caterers. A variety of snacks, mini-meals, and beverages are available at reasonable rates. Vending machines for tea, coffee and snacks are also located in the canteen.
- Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
- Alumni Associations
The college has a good networking for alumni association.
- Laboratories
The college has departmental based laboratories facility for the students.
- Convenience Store
Three Photocopying centers are located at different parts of the campus. The bookstore, located near the canteen, sells textbooks, stationery, greeting cards and computer accessories.
- Banks/ATMs
There is also a bank extension counter on the ground floor of the science building.
- Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure is good ,but as classrooms are big so it gets a little hot cause if there are more than 60 students it becomes too much crowded and less space to seat comfortably. Labs have AC but they are not big enough for students more than 60.

Hello Sanika Patil, There are various Bsc courses in Sophia college mumbai but for BSC general category 105 marks and BSC minority 107 marks and there are BSC IT field is also there so its general and minority marks is 46.62 and for reserved is 62.06.

Hello Aspirant,
Sophia College for Women, Mumbai, offers different undergraduate courses in B.A, B.SC and BMM and B.Sc IT and postgraduate courses in M.Sc and diploma courses in Diploma in Clinical analysis - DCA and PG - Diploma in Quality Assurance in the Foods/Pharmaceuticals Industry (Q.A).
Due to nationwide lockdown they have not started their admission procedure for 2020-21 yet. Any notification can be released soon, so be updated with the official website of college given below :-
