South Malda College is an affiliated, rural, general degree college situated in Malda, West Bengal. It provides various undergraduate courses. Degree wise Admission Process
B.A. Programs: South Malda College offers B.A. programs in both general and honors courses, having a total capacity of 2250 seats for B.A. general courses. For the B.A. honors programs, specializations to be offered by the college include Bengali (154 seats), Sociology (154 seats), Arabic (111 seats), English (111 seats), History (75 seats), Political Science (66 seats), Economics (58 seats), and Education (58 seats). Admission to these courses is based on the performance of the student in the examination at 10+2, with relevance to subjects correlated to honors programs.
B.Com Programs: B.Com general and B.Com Accountancy Honors are among the programs that the college offers. The B.Com general program takes in 125 students, while 58 students are enrolled on the B.Com Accountancy Honors program. Admission to these two programs mainly relies on the performance from the eligible ceritficate clearing of the student at 10+2 as determined largely from commerce-oriented subjects.
B.A. Geography Honors: This has a total intake of only 22 seats. Admission will most logically be on the performance of the candidate in 10+2 regarding geography and related subjects.

Earlier PCM( physics, chemistry, math ) combination course was most demanded. However , SMC ( statistics, math and computer science) and physics, maths , geology also trend ,but does not mean the earlier course lost its relevance. Moreover,one must choose the course as per his/her interest so that the burden reduces and can obtain good mark with good careers.

Personally I want to tell you you have great marks should try to get MBBS in North only because you will be facing language barrier. During and after your MBBS you have to interact and treat local and non-local patients so you have to learn new language and climate, food and many more aspect needs to be considered before choosing your college.

Admit card is supposed to be with you even after the completion of exam so no need to worry about the admit card. The admit card for any examination is issued by the exam conducting body and it is for you to enter the examination centre without any hindrance. Without an admit card, one is not allowed entry. You need to keep the admit card properly with you so that it will be required in your further admission process. One is not supposed to submit the admit card to the invigilators or coordinators during the exam.
